I would also love to see comparison with Valhalla or Mirage. To see if there really is a generational leap
The difference isn’t huge but like the bar is very low sadly lol
Guys just played 4 hours of Shadows. It's not that bad like people say. The graphics is awesome! Definitely can call it a next-gen experience. Exploration is cool. There's always something to be found. Yeah, the voice acting is bad af and facial animations during cutcscenes are weird but still better than Mirage and other previous rpg games
AC Shadows combat lowkey feel like they have no weight with the fact that enemies can’t be interrupted when big ‘ol Yasuke swings his big stick or Naoe whacking her sword on an archer whilst he proceeds to shoot her anyway…
The AC rpg games are really lacking in hit reactions.
These two games should not be compared based on graphics, but on gameplay
I would 100% rather play Ghost of Tsushima for the gameplay.. Graphics are low priority to me. A beautiful gloss of paint cant hide the flaws forever in the case of AC Shadows.
Thanks but i will pick ghost any time of the day
unrelated but nick , you are so adorable :3
You should play on PS5 Pro because it looks the best.
No variable penumbra on the shadows in AC shadows though, I thought it had RT shadows..
I'm Still waiting for the kingdom come deliverance comparison nick.
Ghost is still on top.
both are superior, if you have superior machine to run it.
To me, the artistic choice in ghost of tsushima is, honestly, though very vibrant, a little bit on the less realistic side, while Shadows really looks realistic and noticeably better. But you really need to get your hands on the game to understand. The compression of youtube is kinda doing an injustice to this game. To me, this is one of the best looking games at the moment, with all the ray tracing and shenanigans turned on. I also had a great time doing side things and exploring, about the story though, is the usual revenge one, nothing special. It will probably grow on people as it go.
AC Shadows actually looks like Japan and has definedsense of time and place. Ghost of Tsushima looks like a random jumble of surface-level things that people associate with Japan, regardless of whether those things make sense in the game's time period, all thrown on top of nonsensical geography that could have come out of No Man's Sky or something.
you should make a video about comparing kingdom come deliverance to the second game
i wanted to hate ac shadows i really did i wanted to hate it so freaking bad but goddamn am i enjoying it a lotttt i think ac shadows and ghost are all great for diff things like you said ghost has a more cinematic feel like gow and ac feels more gamey but thats not necessarily a bad thing
Fantastic video. But your AC shadows footage seems a bit washed out. Playing the game right now on the same screen and its much more vibrant than your footage. was it converted from HDR to SDR or brightness increased?
both games are great in my opinion but ghost is a masterpiece
shadow gameplay is the trash gampley we saw in every single ac since origins. the worst gameplay ubisoft ever created
while ghost have one the best sword gameplay ever created, a mix of nioh and old assassin creed and a souls
