My thoughts on Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana which was played on the Playstation 4. Apologies for the review being a month late. Hopefully this will still be useful.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana focuses on Adol (who is the main character in other Ys games) getting stuck on a stranded island after the boat he was traveling on sank. He must find a way to leave the island while also rescuing other castaways. But there is also something more to the island than anyone had originally thought.
