I assume 20% of players did both and 10% never did the second ending, I doubt 50% of accounts who purchased this game have completed it, it's rare to see that on 10+ hour playtime games
relinking the fire means for gods to get stronger and enslave humanity. only idiots will choice that. there should have been a third option. to destroy the very cycle of light and dark. the age of the deep….
The canon ending is relinking the flame since in DS3 the age of fire has extended for so long that the flame is just embers. Beginning the age of dark is the good ending but not canon
Its not sure 50% completed the game, I would guess some players replayed it, then most likely only 35-40% of players have finished the game, but 15% of players finish ng+ and do the other ending.
i just beat dark souls for the first time and it was not clear at all that you could “choose” an ending. i walked out of the arena because i wasn’t done doing stuff in the world and that was just it
To be fair I don't think most players even knew they were about to get an ending. I killed the boss and just said "ooh another bonfire" not realising touching it would end my save I was so annoyed when I got sent back to the asylum cause I didn't even realise I was at the end and had left a few things to explore for after I'd beaten the game. Most games usually say "this will end your game do stuff beforehand" but just getting a checkpoint in this completely forces you to new game plus. I'm glad DS3 just has the option to go to ng+ whenever you want.
I left Gwyns bossroom so that i could try out his sword and armor hell I had no fucking clue an entire army of giraffe serpent will pledge their loyalty to me

And then there's my autistic ass, who have beaten the game several times to see all the endings

Appearently i had the hardest ending on my first playground of ds3
I’m gonna be honest. I just beat dark souls 1 yesterday and I just hit the button not realizing I could switch to the other ending
I just 100% it yesterday 🎉

Or they did both. Moron.

Shout out to the people who did them both🔥
I didn't see the bonfire the first time, so walked back out the arena…
That's not how it works
50% is surprisingly lower than I expected
DARK SOULS ARE DARK AND DARK IS DARKNESS I THINK TO BE DARK LORD IS BUTTER
I’m currently playing Dark Souls remastered and I’m always surprised when I see a boss I defeated only has around 45% of players beat it.
And I did both. With various builds and challenges. I could play that game a hundred times and never get bored
I think second ending means that there will be another chosen undead to burn himself in the fire
Link the fire and what? You get roasted like a chicken in that ending
Most people will tend to light the bonfire since that’s what they’ve been doing the entire game.
Ng+ guys : both both sounds good
Meh… I got both the ending, I M pretty sure that are still 30% or 35% the players that finished the game
I didnt know leaving would choose that ending
False percents.
Such a great parabel for pessimisg philosophy!
What about those who did them both

Why link the fire, delaying the progess…. like the other ages, the age of darkness will also come to an end and something new might begin
Choose? Like I got a fucking choice lol

Incorrect usage of percentages lol just fyi. Thanks for the content regardless
