I played DS3 for the first time after ER and I just kinda stopped playing shortly after Pontiff because it just wasn't that challenging and the rare times it was, it almost always felt cheap.
Got it yesterday and already clocked in 16 hours, I’ve beaten Elden Ring, Dark Souls 1 and Dark Souls 2. I think DS3 is the best of the trilogy so far and I’m loving every second of it. If it wasn’t so linear and more like DS1’s world I think it would be my favorite Soulsborne game. But yeah it’s easier than Elden Ring. In ER I died like 10+ times to almost every boss but for DS3 the bosses haven’t gotten me to 7 attempts yet. I think Ponitff Sulyvahn is next so wish me luck cause I hear he’s one of the tougher fights
I just completed ds3 today and you maybe right. But i think it becomes a skill boost from multiple soulsborne games. But also elden ring is much more flexible with staggers and jumo attacks as well as the crazy number of amulets. While dark souls 3 is the much harder dark souls title with a lot heavier difficulty scaling. Like compared to elden ring, ive only staggered 4 bosses in the entirety of dark souls 3.
its kinda the opposite for me. when i play through elden ring and come back to ds3, i become absolutely garbage at everything (one of the reasons why i stopped playing elden ring)
DS3 has a weird thing where every enemy has similar timing on when to dodge with only a few exceptions. I walked into many bosses first time ever where I just somehow knew when and how to dodge the attack. In no other souls game have I felt this. Not even Demon's Souls.
Generally yeah, Elden Ring enemies are just much more difficult, but I still do get tripped up on the Pontiff every time I will not lie. Same with the Ringed City knights. Friede for some reason I will either steamroll or get stuck on for a bit too
Bro melania took me 3 dats 8-12 pm everyday grinding her and when i finally beat she killed me still but I got the runes so i ran back to pick them up lol
I’ve beaten Elden ring and the DLC so I’m actually starting Dark souls lll any suggestions on which characters to start with and any other suggestions?

From Speed Creep is crazy man. Ornstein and Smough and Artorias look like slow motion after playing the newer games.

DS3 >>>> ER
I can agree I am now in sl1 run on ds3
Elden Ring made me change my build multiple times. Dark Souls 3 I ran around with a big great sword and Havel armour and had a real easy time
The demons souls remake is better than dark souls 3 . Don't be misled .

Not true lorian and lothric took me longer to beat than ng+5 promised consort radahn
"Hundreds of thousands of hours" 😭 elden ring came out February 2022 thats not even 20,000 hours ago
I would agree with this, but then Lothric Prince happened…
Never listen to a male with a pony tail posing as a man

It wasn't hard when it was new.

Surprised when I bet Pontiff the first try, then the twin princes made up for it 75 attempts later
Bro i did the same, ds3 is my first in the trilogy. No boss in ds3 took more than 4 tries. I played sekiro and elden ring btw.
it never was hard easiest soulslike out there
We took the same bully methods from sister friede and brought it to melania.
