I love the pack so far but there are some quirks. For one, people keep showing up dirty and peeing all over the place on my business lots. So I put a public toilet, and that didn’t fully fix it. 😂 just per everywhere to mop all the time and stinky people. 😂
I actually figured out how to add pools to the ocean lots. You just have to delete the first floor and only use the second floor and make it a "floating" build. So the pool has to be part of the building but it is possible.
the "club lounge" thing unlocked a memory of when my grammy worked for the school district and brought me to a trip in dc and her friend who was also my 2nd grade teacher had access to that club lounge thing and i got a diet coke from there it was crazy for 8 year old me
I love this lot! I wish it could do all the things that you/we want in running a resort in The Sims 4.
I have to say it – there is a lot of "pretending" going on for a $40.00 expansion pack. EA needs to do better.
In your opinion, which pack would be better for hotels? For Rent or Businesses and hobbies?

I made a petting zoo last night! It was so fun. Like free ranch hands too lol. My chickens and sheep were so happy.
I have a build video idea! I've done this challenge a few times, and i enjoyed it. the challenge is no base game at all. i think this would make a really fun video.

If you have a place you don't want them sleeping, put a radio. I believe that should keep them from sleeping (or at least wake them right back up).

Hotel maybe won't work, but I could se myself running a hostel/B&B-type place with this.

Gurl, i made a tavern. I have a dining room with tables that is public, i have a bar area, and a kitchen that is employees only. I have one employee that tends the bar, one who plays the violin and i make food, set it out for the customers. The activities i have for that is have bsr drinks, eat and watch entertainment. Works perfectly. Then i have some beds, i've set the sleep activity and some sims sleep. It's a perfect tavern.
The Businesses and Hobbies pack has been my favourite Sims 4 pack of all time! I am having so much fun with this pack. It makes me WANT to play the game, usually new packs induce that want for a bit, then it gets stale again. But, this pack has the potential to so many storylines and challenges which is what I LOVE about the sims. Thank you for your videos Kayla, watching you build just super inspires me 🥰😍
I'd love to see a senior center business! I'm not sure how it'd be different from a regular rec center but it might be fun to have something specifically for elder sims.

My business is not full of activities, mainly painting and a coffee bar. I noticed a lot of the people that come in need to use the toilet but just leave instead of using one the 2 bathrooms available on the lot. The doors are gender neutral, there's plenty of space, and no objects blocking the way. My sim can use both toilets with no issue. Idk why this is happening.
