Once again, Monolithsoft pulls it off with amazing quality of life features. So much better than having to constantly walk around new La just to find everyone and then put them in the party.
huh weird , why are there 6 with locks where you cant even see the silhouette …
do the silhouettes get revealed when you reach a chapter when you could recruite them …
Neilnail is the last silhouette … so you can recruite her before you even meet Celica.
Now i wonder if they changed Celicas recruitment mission or if there is at least some new dialog if you have Neilnail with you.
i also wonder why the story relevant crew dosnt occupy the first 7 slots …
oh is it because you can in theory unlock Hope , HB and Yelv before meeting Lao and L …
but shouldnt Boze and Alexa also be there then … or is it because their recruitment missions have a higher level …
so this is the visible party menu in chapter 4 … wow Neilnail can be recruited this early … huh
but who in their right mind will go to cauldros for Hopes recruitment mission before even meeting Lao and L …
this is mind boggling

Oof the game runs like ass hopefully the switch 2 runs it at 60 fps
XBX newcomers don't understand just how significant this change is. This one single new QoL feature alone will be sparing us all from collectively HOURS of painful back-and-forth tedium.

Celica's acquisition story must be significantly altered here and probably requires Neilnail to be in your party.

I still think in addition to Leisel and the unknown hero we get Eleonora who will probably be ridiculously overpowered. We might finally get Ga Jiarg and Ga Buidhe who probably should have been playable in the OG version if the special edition artbook is anything to go by since they have a Beam Sword and Javelin respectively.
I remember memorizing party member locations both day and night in New LA. That was not the most fun.

This is probably better than the overdrive chart and all the UI improvements, nothing was worse than needing to take my boy Yelv off the team for a story quest, and then not be able to find him for like 30 IRL minutes despite knowing where he hangs out
i'll playing this wherever i go! Regardless if other people complain if they see me whip out my nintendo switch oled and start playing in public! i do have headphones on, so, whats the problem?
This will be much easier then going to NLA to switch characters directly.
