  1. Honestly I've been going with cope recently, the guns at tuckers just arnt that useful and it goes well with challenge runs

  2. Cope's only quality I like is that his voice actor voices Itachi Uchiha from Naruto lmao. The guns from Tucker is nicer to have overall.
F*** Copeland, me n' my Mongrels hate Copeland.

  3. I believe the very first time I played DG I went with Copeland because I wanted that little bike upgrade boost. But now that I’m 12+ playthroughs in I always do Tucker for weapons boost. Plus as you said those drugs initially belonged to her. I honestly don’t like either character… Copeland is a thief and Tucker is a slaver both not the best people.

  4. Nice summary video (especially with the background lore/story of the drugs).

However, I usually do #TeamCopeland because I absolutely HATE how loud the replacement bike is because I want to be as stealthy as possible and need that muffler to quiet the bike. Plus, I want to get that NERO injector near Copeland where you need nitro/jump.

  5. I remembered having solved this question in my last third playthrough about last year while people was asking about it. Ideology wise it’s was not mattered and Story Wise it would only make sense it’s Tucker. Also one of the main Appeal to why Cope as beginning of the game was because he promise to look for Deacon Custom Gas Tank as it was the last part of Sarah. There was dialouge of said mission where Manny did look for it yet Cope was the one who promised to deacon so if it wasn’t for Bend Studio Cut Contents, This Choice do mattered as it Unlock Deacon Custom Tank by sarah and it was a level IV Gas Tank. In the game Level 3 was mid game as in “Iron Mike”
But here’s a reason why you should give it to Copeland now as of 2025:
    1. Every player who first play the game on ps5 all have this Achieviememts Recorded the moment they give it to Copeland. But the second playthrough and above they all go Tucker once they realize Tucker is more logical to happend.
    2. The new exploit that let you go to The Third Region early and snatch it anyway. So even if you give it to Cope, it don’t mattered.

  6. Knowing nothing about the game on my first playthrough and not knowing what the “reward” would be for doing so, I gave the drugs to Tucker. My thought process at the time was, “Well, they’re her drugs”, and I didn’t want to give them to Copeland who I was annoyed at for parting out my bike and giving me a crappy one in return. My second playthrough, knowing the reward was camp trust and credits, I gave the drugs to Copeland because I wanted the bike upgrades. Now, I pretty much just flip a coin lol, but I generally go with Copeland because it’s really hard to build up trust points and camp credits with Copeland’s Camp, and Hot Springs is easier (at least in my experience). But you’ve really explained well how the choice “can” make a difference depending on your playthrough style! Great job as always in explaining the “little things” that can literally be game changers!

  7. I could be wrong, but don't you get more credits and trust by choosing to give the drugs to Tucker? On a fresh playthrough, gaining trust in the camps is valuable. I tend to make decisions based on hoe I can get the most trust.

Either way, this video is extremely helpful.

  8. I recently started a new game from scratch on days gone after 5 years and I literally just made this decision like 15 minutes ago and all of a sudden the algorithm shows me this video?? It’s a conspiracy, don’t believe the lies

  9. OK, Copeland knew that was your bike and he “ salvaged” it anyway at least with hot Springs you can get a better gun then you could take on 4 small hords and then get the SMP9

  10. Terrible choice, either way, as very shortly into the game, if you JUST do the Story missions, you can be at Lost Lake within a couple of hours, and its vendors offer essentially the same if not better upgrades (weapons and bike) than either Hot Springs or Peaceful Lake.

And once you're at Lost Lake it's really not that difficult to quickly level up your Trust with them. Finish the first couple of mandatory Story missions and turn in any Bounties you've collected, then head back out, clear out the surrounding Ambush camps, unlock the MMUs (or maybe MMU ;), take out all the available Hordes and turn in even more ears, and you'll hit Trust 2 before you know it.

  11. Sad that they left in that one choice, but I guess Bend ultimately felt that with a choice/moral system their game really would have been too much like Red Dead 2.

Shoot Leon, or don't…and Boozer will shoot him. That was obviously meant to be another choice, possibly even the very first one the player would make.

Make sure Rose returns to Hot Springs, or let her go.

    Among others.

Apparently your choices could have affected whether or not Boozer actually survives at the end, or even if he dies mid-game.

  12. I'm still on my first playthrough, over 70 hours in. I'm having too much fun. But I gave the drugs to Copeland. He's a butt but he treats his camp members like they're actually people. Unlike Tucker who abuses, tortures, and starves her members. I can hardly try to talk to her without hearing a guard beating a poor man senseless right behind me.

My second reason for giving the drugs to Copeland is because I found the guns at Tucker's camp useless. I'm a loot goblin and have a need to explore and stick my nose into everything. So by the time I got to her camp, I already had weapons that were better than what she had.

  13. Really glad you included the lore-based decision as an alternative to one upgrade vs another. And, oof, that ending! 🫣

  14. If only there was an option to give the stash to Iron Mike, I would've given it to them without thnking a beat. Unfortunately thats not the case here.
