Doflamingo seems fairly straightforward to use but is actually all about positioning. He has a mechanic that a lot of players aren’t aware of and as a result don’t use — the running and/or twirling caused by his C5 Parasite (on PlayStation this is SSSST or SSSSTT while in FFB)

When C5 Parasite is performed it causes enemies to be caught in Doflamingo’s strings and he sends them running first, and then spinning in place after (if you press T a second time). This has the following effects:

1. It does massive damage to heath and armor to both the enemies caught in his strings as well as any surrounding enemies

2. It fills the special gauges almost instantly

3. Refills the FFB gauge when used in conjunction with the Worked Up skill. This effectively allows Doflamingo to remain in FFB for the duration of a stage provided you have enough fodder to hit with Parasite
