  1. Buddy of mine can do a glitchless speedrun from start to soul of cinder in about 45 minutes. First time he sat down and did it in front of me I was absolutely mind blown lmao. Interestingly enough, he actually chooses the bandit start for every run he does. Can't remember his exact reasoning but for glitchless it makes sense

  2. If there's an opportunity to click "do not recommend channel" I'll always click it when eye-rolling loops are done.

  3. Basically they do it to make a “speedrun” as easy as possible by cheating… can’t say I expected anything less from such wretched creatures. Btw don’t argue you will not change my opinion, this is a hill I will die on.

  4. When i tried to pick the assassin class on my ps4, the character screen would freeze and i would get an infinite loading screen

  5. I always wandered why most of speedrunners pop only 2 balls of Greatwood instead of 3 possible in first phase

  6. It's also good if you're doing an int/dex build instead of pure int. It's not by any means a bad class, it's just a specialized one. It bears a lot of similarities to the "Prisoner" starting class in ER. It's a whole helluva lot better than the Thief and Deprived still, that's for sure. Lol

  7. Assassin for Speed runs due to Spook being Spook, and Mercenary for No hit because Sellsword Twinblades are Sellsword Twinblades

  8. Assassin is low-key the best even for just normal play because you can ignore so much hassle and do shortcuts with spook…. Like all the way until the tree boss there are so many spots to use spook to save souls or avoid battles with annoying enemies… It really changes your path as new routes become available that you never even knew existed… You can run past SO MUCH of the start of the game and head straight into mid game for much higher soul gain…. Then you can immediately get the sell sword twin blades and suddenly your game becomes a lot easier ….

  9. I love how the tone of this clip makes it sound like you just got caught with your hand in the cookie jar.

  10. Isn't the Mercenary starting class always used for specifically the "all bosses" category because of the twin curved swords too?

  11. I'd say it's because Assassin has pretty nice starting stats and because… the parry shield turns Gundyr into a cakewalk

  12. Not to mention the great all around starting stats with all but one in the double digits and a high dex to allow a large range of good weapons early

  13. Good to see that speedrunning made another class viable at least. Souls games are weird with classes since only a few of them have use and DS3 is the apex of this I believe. For a non speedrunning build only 2 classes are worth it, Knight for dex, str and quality builds and pyromancer for faith or int builds.

  14. Is it really beating the game if you're just breaking the ever loving hell out of it instead of, ya know, actually playing it?
