I think it's important to understand that that's a survey. They're not going to release all of those things, they're merely entertainment the possibilities of certain concepts. They would NEVER release info about future packs to players like that. You need to calm down fr.
Give us fairies, elf, update plant sim, mermaids and aliens please
Do game packs. Don’t create new expansion packs that should have been already existing
The hair salon should be in business and hobbies. My god
I honestly think these newer packs (the businesses and hobbies one) and the ocean exploration idea could instead be used to offer revamps to old packs. instead of making a new pack out of these, just put these ideas into the older packs to boost them. itd build a lotta report with the players too
I guess cars will have to be base game if they're talking about so many car-centered EPs
Mmm I don’t know about this
I don’t want cars. It’s not GTA.
I think suburban living sounds amazing. Growing lawns, RECLINERS!! Silly and small, but I’ve wanted recliners ever since they were left behind in sims 2
For the dentist one, could it be the dental care mode by adeepindigo but less annoying?
Hold up, we could get object shows– Sim shows in The Sims 4?? (I happen to really like object shows 🙃)
& for 'Van Life' I think we would need to be able to create convoys (Did I misspell that?)
Well, we finally figured out what happened to all those Pack Refreshes
if cars are added I have a feeling they'll be like the sims 2's cars. possibly lots may have a designated parking area, either placed like the sims 3's or just in the world and if a car wouldn't realistically work on your lot (on an island for example) you would only be able to interact with stuff like the radio and woohooing in it and not actually driving it. I hope theres an animation for them driving away but i wouldn't be surprised if it was just a loading screen
soooo disappointed in every single one of these 'expansion' pack ideas.
the only one i'd be interested in would be ocean exploration and it's only bc i live in maine and the pack sounds like it would be maine-based.
all of these should be updates to previously existing packs or just not exist at all.
yall will NOT be happy when you get cars and realize they are not all you've chalked them up to be, they're completely useless in the sims 4 and will be just like skating and skiing. a useless boring little animation.
Wow, something that should’ve been in the base game at the price of just $40! 😄
I like the reality tv idea and that suburban living sounds more like small town living
At this point, I would prefer slightly more expensive and more comprehensive releases of EPs once a year instead of multiple half-baked EPs multi times a year. The small business aspect of Hobbies EP should have been part of GTW, but I know they didn't have the core mechanics developed for it way back then. It just feels really wrong to be asking us to buy expansions of expansions.
Need hotel for vacation..
We are not far from receiving Inzoi in March, so I won't worry about it now. EA playing in our face
vans and hitchhikers? you know DAMN well someone will mod that and create some kind of serial killer challenge 😂
I would like to see a Superhero vs Villains' pack.. They could be like an occult and have skill trees and different powers, a career path, etc. there is just SO much they could do.
Sounds good, I want them all.
Wish they would have a neighbourhood expansion , where you could have more lots to build on.
If they do cars that's how they introduce the open world
I really want the first one. I want more beach life
In my opinion I don't think cars can be implemented in Sims 4 unlike sims 3 they have open map so basically cars are just for deco even if you can drive them it will just move around the neighbourhood bike riding a bicycle
I like the Cars Life and the Island-living the best, the reality TV show the worst…. it just the reality TV show sounds like the base game of the sims, but made into a game world pack… not appealing!
There are a lot of things to choose from, but I would like to have cars, vans, businesses and hobbies, Dentists, potters, and truckers as new jobs. Speaking of jobs, I noticed that two of the jobs listed are already in the game(s) and those are babysitter and lifeguard. Drive-in movie theaters and fast-food places are good too and a lot of fun.
We already have beaches and camping (outdoor retreat game pack), but I would love for Sims to find more things on the beach and use them to make art projects which can either be put into houses and businesses as decorations, sold on Plopsy or online, or sold in store(s) if the Sim owns one. As for the outdoor retreat game pack, more options should include road trips, maps, GPS for vehicles, et cetera in the cars game pack.
Simmers should also have the option of joining their Sim kid or teen in going to their scout meetings and/or chaperoning on a school field trip and scout trip. Perhaps this could be an option if the Cars game pack does come out in the future. I would also like to see Sims get a lollipop when leaving the hospital and the medical bill should be added to the mail which Sims will need to pay off by a certain date in the game. There should also be more medical ailments that Sims can get along with a variety of medications and I wish there was pain medication(s) for toothache pain which I hope will come out with the dentist job.
If I can get the Hobby and business game, then I would do something artsy like pottery, bakery, a pasta shop, and a cooking business. Happy Simming everyone!
Is Auto GAME CRASHING coming to the Sims 4? 😮
Ambition’s is get to work but done better. I feel like if they took more time we can actually get gameplay😂😂😂like one expansion a year and a game and stuff pack.
so basically, they did one pack refresh, didn't make a lot of money from it, scrapped the idea and decided to sell them to us for $40 instead. Excellent
Okay, so the shopping list is
• Island Living 2 – $40.00 USD
• Get To Work 3 – $40.00 USD
• Cars part 1 – $40.00 USD
• Cars part 2: Get To Work Edition – $40.00 USD
• A Bunch Of Random Mundane Shit We Couldve Fit Into Other Packs But We Wanted More Money For – $40.00 USD
• Get Famous 2 – $40.00 USD
• Cars part 3: House Edition – $40.00 USD
Total: $240.00 USD plus tax for about $40 worth of ideas, most of which theyve done before and will no doubt be ridiculously buggy rehashed versions of stuff we already have and already barely works. Classic EA 👍
Cosmetologist could work with Spa day. I'm especially excited to this Ocean Exploration and Van Life.
Hair Stylist was perfect for this small businesses ep
I don’t like any of this. Instead of making new packs they should fix the bugs and work on previous packs like they did with spa day.EA is money hungry and the die hard defenders are not helping
I like these pack concepts, but many of them seem to work better in an open world environment like Sims 3 had. I'll wait and see if these packs become a reality and watch any videos pertaining to them.
so, this year is about selling the expansion of an expansion as an expansion?
I doubt the derivable cars to be a thing, the game is not built for it what so ever unless they actually go back and modify everything including the base game itself too. OR it'll just be a cookie-cutter decoration item. Somehow I just know it'll come out disappointing one way or another.
Unpopular opinion maybe, but when I did the survey months ago, I selected the Ocean one haha I thought the idea of building an underwater base and submarines was AWESOME. Also Island Living is a Hawaii inspired pack, they have the opportunity to make the setting completely different to make the pack feel more original. I could totally see a coastal Central America setting, (heck even Australia or South East Asia). At some point it's not fair to say that Sims team should never revisit a coastal setting just because Island Living exists.
And same goes with the recent criticism about Businesses and Hobbies being Get To Work 2.0. So what, are they supposed to just never create career oriented packs because that one exists? Like yes, we should expect more of EA because DLC is VERY expensive, but let's not be debby downers all the time. And anyway, once InZoi comes out… they won't have a choice but to step up their game to get us back.
The Sims 4 is such an expensive and buggy game. But if you really want to play it, I suggest you sail the high seas. Honestly, the bugs are almost non-existent there. You can prepare for game-breaking updates since your game won't update automatically. My save files are safe because they couldn't be affected right away by the bugs due to the frequent updates. And, you can even access gallery! It's a win situation.
I do not want to support EA but I still want to play the game. I've been playing this way in such a long time now and I have not encountered problems.
Love the idea of Ocean Exploration but it should have been on "Island Living". They are trying to milk the Sims 4 for everything is worth. And they are running out of ideas.
There's still many things that they haven't put in the game and they are focusing on recycling old content.
I also think cars will be rabbit holes so I'll skip on those too.
In general, all of these ideas just sound boring and unoriginal.
