Onto the Road of Sacrifices! This was a really crazy episode with lots of fun and chaos involved. Miyazaki’s poison swamps never get old, do they? lmao

Grey Rat pillaged the undead village, so I imagine the Zwei was grabbed from one of those zippy little Zwei wielding thralls
1:06:03 Emmatiel of Mirrah 😎⚔
Please use your Undead Bone Shards! Burn them at the Firelink bonfire, they increase the health from Estus Flasks…Great episode! I loved the part with the Corvian birds chasing you around at the beginning! lol…The trick to dealing with them is to kill them before their wings sprout…
You've picked up an item called an Undead Bone Shard. I would highly recommend reading the item description. lol Also, the required upgrade materials are shown on the left side of the upgrade menu. Cheers!
WHen i'm not kicking ass in Dead by daylight, I find myself watching Emma and house of the dragon. *hugs
The little humanity-like symbols next to the bonfires in the warp menu indicate multiplayer activity in that area. Whether it be co-op or pvp.
more symbols = more players
Embers are like humanity
Great work here, Emma! Keep playing your game, Fanta is fabulous!
Darn. You were so close to using that Butcher Knife.
I was hoping you'd have sorted out your Strength before finding the Zweihander. 😉
Ds3 “it’s relaxing innit?”
Hopefully Amber starts Dark Souls III and y'all play together! 😀 My partner and I started to say, "Emma!! Emma!!!!" whenever we are in trouble in games because Amber does that all the time and its iconic honestly
Burn your undead bone shards
I've noticed that you never use the poke attack with the Claymore. It's so handy and one of the best reasons to use that weapon.
Adding to the chorus. But please read the item description for Undead Bone Shard Emma! You're making the game much harder for yourself than it should be!
How to propperly pronounce "Zweihänder". First you have to pronounce the Z sound. it is like a quick TS sound. Then the W is pronounced like the english V. Then the "EI" is pronounced like the english "eye". Together you get a "ts-v-eye". Then "Händer" is pronounced like the english "hand" plus an additional er. Together that makes it "Ts-v-eye-hand-er".
You already fought the Centipede Demon, in DS1, just before Izalith. They just made it SO much better in Nightreign.
There is however a DS3 boss confirmed to appear in the full release, but you won't see him for quite a while so I won't mention his name. It's a really good one, though.
more plz 🙂
Emma, if you have any Undead Bone shards in your possession you can improve the healing of your Estus flasks by burning them at the Firelink Shrine bonfire.
Note: The summon signs are not always in an obvious spot near the boss doors.
Good episode this week. 😃
This game is so difficult after Elden Ring. It's nightmarish, and you're at that point where it becomes so. The boss battles need real skill after this, certainly compared to Elden Ring.
loving your playthrough of this game 😀
It’s true. It’s can be incredibly nerve-wracking for a slow, methodical, meticulous souls player to watch you dart past enemies from bonfire to bonfire, push a little ways into a new area and then backtrack to an old area to explore the parts you originally missed and then go push into a new area a little before you warp back to the first area you pushed into, and so on and so forth.
For those of us who make a point of killing every single enemy in a way that never leaves us surrounded and then once they’re all dead to look in every nook and cranny (and behind every favorite brick and tree) for secrets and items etc., watching this our alarms start going off in our heads
🚨area not secure 🚨area not explored 🚨 secrets missed AHHHHH 😱
Nobody: …
Absolutely no one: ….
Emma: ELDEN RING 👁️ 👄 👁️
Hi Emma, not to do spoilers, but I think going through Cathedral of the Deep (you have the first bonfire) is honestly a better bet, before taking on the Abyss Watchers, though there are NPC summons (including Sirris) available for that fight.
Really enjoying the videos!
💯 positive the centipede demon is in ds1
fyi you can sell the souls to the old lady and she'll give you the same amount as if you popped them. It's much faster and you can see how much they give you
Your level is enough, you don't need to worry about that
Emma, something that was kinda mentioned in the intro (in classic Fromsoft clarity) is that the world of Dark Souls 3 is suffering a convergence of worlds as the fire fades and the abyss creeps in. This is why you will see elements of all of the worlds of the Dark Souls games you've played on your journeys. Be on the lookout!
If you use an ember you can use it to heal you, it gives you bonus health too but if you have one active, you can get invaded, also if you beat a boss you’ll have a ember active for your next life, but you can only use one ember per life.
1:10:00 I was waiting for this moment! When I found it, I literally said out loud "Emma will be so happy!" Lol
You can always pop an ember for the vigor, and ffs put some pants on! Lol (you started heavy rolling cuz of the covid mask lol)
Congrats on finding the Zweihander! It's been so long since I've played I couldn't remember where it was. It's a decent weapon but then so is the Claymore. The Exile Greatsword you picked up too is one of my favourites, it's what I used in a no-death run yonks ago.
1:05:20 – You were right! It is the one doing purple attacks. The only problem was your attack missed, which is why it did no damage 🙂
The "illegal" Black Knight move wasn't new, they do that in Dark Souls too 😉
Abyss Watchers is a great fight, have fun with it. Pay attention to how the red eyed one acts differently to the others. Looking forward to seeing the showdown next week!
Hi Emma, sorry but you are getting the wrong idea about comments directing you towards missed items. Often the items people point out are not just a brick…….
Last vid. there were several comments recommending you check out the large arrow strewn area for a thing you missed as the large arrows seemed to want to make friends.
However the item in question is an ash that will unlock more items for sale from the old lady back at the shrine, one of which is a key which unlocks another small area to explore including an npc to be engaged with.
All good content the commenters want to watch you experience!
I have been a bit spoilery here (not a word, I know!) as the commenters were all trying to be vague but helpful but actually instead seemed to annoy you in thinking they were just pointing out their favourite brick!
If enough people post vague comments please don't think they are aholes!
And ps, thank you for posting entertaining content.
Ah yes ELDEN RING 3. Everyone's fav game 🙂
I believe the mad woman in the Road of Sacrifices is suppose to be Maneater Mildred from DS 1, same weapon, similar clothes, eats people.
Emma ur theory on the purple magic was correct! You just missed that’s why u didn’t do damage lol
Centipede Demon is a DS1 boss. You fought it in episode 14 of your DS1 series starting at 58:15.
Enjoying your DS3 play through so far! I'd love to see some lore videos on this one when you're done.
