its not even funny, Skyrim feels like a real place, while avowed is way too clean
Man…and that is why I love bethesda…
People like to bash in their game engine but for me it is the best, you can interact with anything, pick, throw, go anywhere… The same rules that apply to you apply to the npcs, the can have the same habilities, weapons or spells(unless it is actually something unique and hard to find)…
The npcs are alive, more than in any game with "great animations" I have ever seen…they talk to each other, you listening or not, they fight, they sleep,eat, work…they live without your presence…
After bethesda games, every other game seems to be so lacking…
And there is even another plus: if you dont like something you can probably change it with mods…npcs behaviors, blood,violence(I love to set people on fire and watch them burn), new quests,lands,npcs,followers…and easy to understand how the engine works, how each thing affect each other…man, I wish there were more game in creation engine…
Avowed is an action adventure game. Skyrim is a fantasy world where you can escape and ignore how horrible real life is. Bethesda might be a shitty studio these days but I can never say that I hate them and I'm the first one who would like Bethesda to redeem itself. Anyway, The Elder Scrolls will always be my safe zone and happy place.

Sooo, zero important elements shown? Dont get me wrong, Avowed is kinda mid, but all that shown is mostly not important (aside of NPC reactions). Why you dont show combat difference? Argurably only important element that can be shown.

Yet… I cant help but feel Avowed looks better and tbh… Looks more fun. Buying the game rn tbh.

Avowed: 125 developers
Not only did Avowed have a bigger team they also had at least one more year development time although I couldn't get exact numbers. Both games had about two years of pre production while the main team worked on Fallout 3/the outer worlds. Skyrim had 3-4 years of full development while Avowed had 5 years.
Может лучше сравнить ролевую составляющую, квесты и сюжет? Конечно нет, ведь цель видео сравнить откровенно слабые и вторичные детали, на фоне которых безыдейный скайрим будет выгодно смотреться
