Return of the King
We need a new entry of “A Brief history of the empire” that covers the Mede dynasty. Is ridiculous that between Titus Mede 1 and Titus Mede 2 we know absolutely nothing about the emperors or history of the empire between
So youre telling me it rained septims?
Anti-O-kus.
It’s Anti-ah-kus
Timebomb is the true Redguard, lol. Great video!
A great lore video from two amazing lore channels…
If I'm asleep don't wake me up.
Please do a camoran dynasty video?
The covenant of akatosh was sealed completely with the blood of the last septim
a fitting end to the legendary dynasty
An interesting back-and-forth overview of the early Third Empire / Septim Dynasty.
0:10 Genuine question, is there any other dynasty we have an appreciable amount of information about? Reman dynasty is almost pure propaganda, and for Alessia's empire I'm pretty sure we know more about Muarukhati Selective than about the empire itself. Maybe we could include the Mede Dynasty, but the Mede's are clearly written to be a poor man's Septim to go along with Skyrim's theme of an aging empire at death's door.
I've started to become skeptical about Tiber Septim's claim as a dragonborn, at least Dragonborn as defined post Skyrim. I just don't buy the hype. This guy, apparently, came from Atmora, millennia after Ysgramor and the other Nordic migrant left to escape the incoming freeze. Before leaving he was trained by the greatest Atmoran warriors and generals. He was a dragonborn, as professed by the Greybeards, but conveniently gets his neck slit so he can't use the Thu'um to demonstrate his Dragonborn-ness (I don't know a better way to write that and not sound dumb). These levels of destined convenience can only be outmatched by Reman himself, who might as well be a Marty Stu.
I have heard the theory of Talos path-walking to become Lorkhan, or at least the contemporary divine being occupying his sphere of nature, and that to me raises the possibility that Auriel was essentially tricked, AGAIN, by Lorkhan, into doing his bidding, this time by way of blessing his "descendants" and himself with being Dragonborn in the way Alessia was, by means of the Akatosh aspect of the Time Dragon, who seems to have hard on for Men and really hates the Mer.
Then, to REALLY pour salt in the wound, he successfully created enough a cultush following that he completed the path-walking to the point that he becomes Divine and in a way returns Lorkhan to his rightful position as part of the Tamriellic pantheon.
Antiochus, the Bill Clinton of Tamriel Emperors. Denies he slept with his sister but there are records. PROPAGANDA he'd shout, 'created by my enemies to illegitimise my rule' then proceeds to get booted.
what a great video I have to check out timebomb afterward this sounds like the war of the roses
This is the weirdest collaboration. I was not expecting this. Well done on surprising me. 😂
Now since the septim empire has been covered are you gonna make a updated video on the mede dynasty?
New lore vid!!!
OH MY GOSHHHHHH!! My two favorite Elder Scrolls lore channels are having a cross-over episode?? Oh, yeah 😎😍
I think you made a mistake.
You claimed that “gods vivec and nerevar”
Nerevar wasnt a god, he was the leader of the chimer.
I know this is harsh but that guy's inability to pronounce literally everything is extremely distracting
I'm gonna be so honest and say while I appreciate the Collab I find the differences in presentation to be jarring and throwing off the course of the video
There's a scary mascot in your video
