I'm not buying this but mark my words, this will be the most disappointing mainline metal gear solid game ever released, the new babies won't care but all of the real diehard fans will be complaining all over YouTube & reddit, those graphics are cartoonish & the movement is so out of sync, just terrible, if you can't see it you just don't have a good eye like me, but once you buy it & play it you'll see how bad Konami sucks without Hideo Kojima who put care into every minute detail as opposed to these legendary game designer wannabees.

I get what they doing and if I'm baiting man they want to see this success of this game and remake all the others mgs games… If any mgs franchises games they should remake it either "portable ops" or first mgs game from the original Nintendo

Metal Gear Solid from 1998 needs a update remake. Yes they made remake on Game Cube but was 21yrs ago.

MGS 1(1998) NEEDS REMAKE
This looks like they just put modern graphics and and mgsv mechanics on MGS3. I dont think this will have any value to us hardcore oldtimers MGS fans. But they may open a new market.
Konami, if you really want to make an MGS game, hire people who LOVE MGS and let them create a new story, with new characters. This franchise has potential, and riding on nostalgia will not get you far.

Immense respect for all the ones working on this project, passionate people have been sacrificing a lot to build this I am absolutely sure. I don’t want this to fail. But, am I the only one finding the end result a little stiff and somewhat uninspired? Granted, they do not advertise this as a « remake » which is careful, because it isn’t one. They augmented the number of polygons, replaced the engine (for better or for worse), and ironed out whatever issue emerged after that. Or did I miss anything?
