The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth main installment in The Elder Scrolls series, following The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2011.

The game’s main story revolves around the player character and their quest to defeat Alduin the World-Eater, a dragon who is prophesied to destroy the world. The videogame is set two hundred years after the events of Oblivion, and takes place in the fictional province of Skyrim. Over the course of the game, the player completes quests and develops the character by improving skills. The game continues the open world tradition of its predecessors by allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time, and to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely.

  1. I started playing skyrim because of assassins creed 3. I searched up games like assassins creed 3 and started playing it in 2018

  2. I just got into ESO. Thought short lore video for dummies suits me just right. Listened to the entire video twice. Still don't understand anything at all. Is there a version for really dumb dummies?

  3. Sending to my boyfriend wish me luck 😔 later down the line I'll have to explain c0da

  4. I've been playing ESO for years on Xbox but I've never played any other elder scrolls games (I tried Morrowind but got lost as hell.) so this should help me as I'm dumb.

  5. So much potential for storytelling and all Bethesda sticks with is meaningless fetch quests with stupid dialogue and storylines.

  6. This game makes me so happy, on my 4th playthrough I get off my 8 hour shift get right on my pc and play until i go to bed every day <3

  7. The Oblivion part would've been even funnier if you had included the part with the Argonians during the Oblivion crysis.
For all who don't know what I'm talking about: During the Oblivion crysis the Daedra opened Oblivion gates all over Tamriel to invade everywhere. But in Black Marsh – the homeland of the Argonians – the Daedra didn't only have a hard time invading, the Argonians turned the table and invaded Oblivion to keep them away from their land! The Daedra actually closed their own gates to Black Marsh to keep the Argonians out of Oblivion. 😀
Still the funniest fun fact of 'em all.

  8. I'm the dummy. Just got Oblivion and watching this while it installs. Everyone keeps hustling me for knowing nothing about the world. But hell, they are probably jealous😂

  9. As someone who barely played ESO and knows nothing about what the rest of the series is about, I'm still so confused… btw, the auto generated, auto translated subtitles from… Korean? are hilarious

  10. I love Skyrim and come back to these videos just because I love it lol. I’ll go like all recent comments to encourage new Skyrim players 🎉

  11. So, wait: how did Lorkhan betray them, and if the Aedra sacrificed their power, how are they still able to grant blessings and such?

  12. I bought Skyrim on the ps3 years ago… played it as a young fellow… didn’t pay attention to dialogue and found myself lost and bored.. Today I started again and now I’m hooked on my old Playstation… Finally understanding what the fuzz was all about 😅 I got A LOT to learn!!
