Anyone holing for a DMC2 Remake? Not a remaster a totally new Remake with what the game should have been
A ninja gaiden 2 black style remake of dmc3 is enough for me. Just need a dante boss fight for vergil campaign

One issue with the Southworth statement is that he couched it by saying that he wasn't going to say anything specific.
While remake culture is ridiculous and all the old games (bar 2) really could use are some QoL tweaks I would prefer a remake over a sequel mainly because none of the big names who made DMC as beloved as it is are even at Capcom any more which makes any new project a risky prospect but at least a remake could be bad and not retroactively harm any other part of the series.
They should at least make DMC6 before or after.
Anything is possible these days. Best to focus on other games for now just in case this is all tosh.

I think the creator of Okami 2 makes after that DMC1 Remake and i think they make DMC2-4 Remake and Not a DMC6 with Dante.

I don't mind reworked camera since I do not want a re1 issue. Where the remake makes the ps1 version redundant to play.
I guess DMC5SE managed to past 1 mil units so the combined sales with it and DMC5 vanilla is 10 mil. It took it a while. It’s a much slower selling SE when compared to 3 & 4. It goes to show how lackluster of a SE 5 got despite its immense popularity.

There are a lot of assets from DMC5 that can be used for DMC1 Remake. I just hope they nail the environmental design and music. Needs to be gothic, medieval and RE-like.
Capcom have been very good at going back to their core IPs and making them better.
Dmc6 needs a remake but why not also remake dmc as well with ninja theory and why not rewrite the script
