  1. I always found the Pursuers fun to use. It feels like a "being the boss" spell. Not the most damaging and isn't hard to dodge but because the slow projectile speed and good homing ability it sure can mess up the timings if you also engage in a melee fight with the enemy. Firing dark souls is an epic thing to do in Dark Souls.

  2. After seeing the character you created's face, i think we now know the untold backstory of the Demon of Song from DS2

  3. im just now realizing as i watch the opening that i had no idea this spell even existed!

  4. Next run, DS2 pursuer only (full armour and sword equipped with base stats for the challenge but more for the memes

  5. This was getting spammed in pvp on day one of the dlc. So surely someone figured it out by themselves pretty quick lo

  6. I really love that, just because they didn't retain the soul trade NPCs from Demon's Souls, you have to give away what might be the original Dark Soul found from the First Flame itself to a bird just to get this spell.

  7. I feel like the Red Tearstone ring is a precious gift from the developers for these challenge runs

  8. A neat thing about catalysts in this game is that while some of them can deal reasonable damage when you hit enemies with them, they compensate for this with lower spell scaling. The Tin Banishment and Demon's Catalyst suffer from this, suggesting players were meant to consider sacrificing some spell damage to retain a melee attack, but nobody ever noticed until Lemon did a spell tool only run.

  9. One reason the Seathe fight had such inconsistent damage numbers is two handing. The two hand bonus to strength applies to the scaling of dark spells.

  10. Would love to see a ds2 version of this run
Alas, that game has no pursuers at all…
