  1. Some people make quick work of Midir like he's nothing but that was the very last boss I beat because I couldn't. Friede is definitely up there and possibly tied. That's one hell of an endurance test.

  2. I've beaten Gael and the Nameless King more times than I can count.

I have beaten Malenia while naked using the Caestus and both pre-nerf Radahn fights (had to use a mod for Starscourge though to get him to pre-nerf difficulty since I only started this past summer)

And yet Midir still eludes me.

  3. Fume Knight was way harder than nameless king and Gael
Midir is what made the DLC for me, one on my favorite bosses of all time

  4. Midir is simply a damage sponge. He's not difficult, if you have any idea about dodging, but the fight drags on due to his high health, resistance, and high damage, which can kill you in two hits in most builds, especially with laser. On my first playthrough I killed him on the third try and I'm reluctant to go back to him because he's boring and I don't get any noteworthy reward for defeating him. Gael has a similar problem, but at least the fight is very demanding, not boring. I would compare Midir to Kalameet in terms of difficulty. The fun of the fight would be much better if he had less health, e.g. 6500 hp.

  5. The thing fun about Midir, is that after all the dragons I beat in Elden Ring, I went back and beat him really easily

  6. Dude gael and the nameless king were cake, ds3 was my first souls and i beat them both first try, friede and midir are harder

  7. For me it's a tie between Friede and Manus. They're the hardest for me by far. They're fast for their respective games, do insane damage and can wombo combo you in a second.

  8. I beat midir in like 9 tries nameless in 16 orphan in like 20 something freide took me a whole ass day and I can’t count for manus but gale took me almost a week

  9. Calling my dawg Gael tedious is a crime against humanity, literally one of the most fun bossfights I've ever had, tho I was really sad when I beat him first try cuz I wanted to fight him more

  10. levelwise nameless kind can be quite hard, i agree on Midir and completely disagree about Gael bossfight being anything different than epic. About the worst, i thing i would say Friede: if NK is difficult for his level, Friede is diabolical.
I won first try, but there are many ashen ones out there that were absolutely trashed until they levelled and changed into a stun build.

  11. We can tell who did these rankings definitely losers who started with ds3 elden ring or sekiro 😂😂😂

  12. Yeah, hardest for me was Friede (45 attempts!), but with the asterisk that I've still never killed Manus in a way that makes me happy. I bow-cheesed him the first three times, and then the fourth time I beat him with havel tank, +15 tower shield, and +15 great club on a 40/40 quality build.

I just find him so obnoxious that I couldn't bring myself to want to learn him for realzies (and his runback is pretty bad too).

  13. Bruh i have never had problems with nameless king, id prob say it’s geal. Midir is just a b*tch that constantly runs away but he is not that hard

  14. Gael and Nameless King aren't even that difficult to be honest. They have some of the most intuitive dodge timings. Personally, I would say Pontiff no parries is more difficult. The most difficult for me would be Friede by far

  15. On my first playthrough of dark Souls 3, the boss (out of the three) that gave me the most trouble was Nameless King at 3 attempts. Two attempts for Midir and one attempt for Gael. In fact, the bosses that I died to the most was Curse Rotted Greatwood and Dragonslayer Armor.

  16. Funny enough I beat Nameless King in first try, but the thing is I played DLCs before and beat Gael, Sister Freide.

  17. I don't know if this is still true, but at one point Fume Knight was objectively the hardest boss FromSoft had ever made. FromSoft themselves said that according to their in-game statistics he had something like a 92% failure rate across all attempts from all online players

  18. People are weird. Hardest boss in dark souls 1 is probably manus but for sure not notably hard. Everyone getting hardest for Dark souls 2, if you want a decent fight in that game honestly rescue no knights for Ivory king, that shit is crazy fun. Dark souls 3, honestly i would go cinder over any DLC boss. Friede can just be back stabbed which is just sad and it's not hard to dodge anything she does, midir is super straight forward if you stand in front of him, gael is just getting used to the extra hit boxes or just simply time into his swings. If you want to count jank and dumb mechanics as hard the list will change. 1. Bed of chaos. That fuck will just boot you off randomly sometimes and waste 5 minutes of your time if you don't save quit in time. 2. Prob the invisible bosses of you fight them invisible, but honestly can't think of to much like just dumb mechanics that feel random to lose to in this game. 3. I would say similar to 2, game is more polished than the first game so I'll go with deacon of the deep because I've seen and been just stun locked to death.

  19. bro im pretty sure Gael is meant to be number two and friede at 3 nameless would be 4th, nameless is a cake walk while gael is so spiritic i have no idea whats going on, i have nothing to say about Midir because his placement is correct

  20. Terrible list ngl, Midir and Gael are both easy as hell, hardest is probably Friede, Manus isn't a bad pick either
