   We should have with the option to buy a portable handheld I was going to get a steam deck but I ended up getting an Rog l i c one extreme so I'm going to try Spider-Man 2 on there

   It's weird that we are reaching a point where games coming out now look worse and run worse on this hardware than older games. For example, in my opinion, Final Fantasy 7 Remake looks and runs pretty awesome on the Steam Deck! Same for Spider-Man Remastered! By comparison, Rebirth and this game, with the settings required to get them to run at 30fps, look way worse. It's a strange phenomenon.

   I guess what I'm trying to say is PS4 era games LOOK better and run better on this generation than PS5 era games. Which is weird, right? You'd think we could tweak settings to get things to at least look/run like a PS4 game, but maybe I'm just not tech savvy enough to understand why that isn't the case.

    So another game where we need to use low settings low looks awful in my opinion if it’s a game that needs low settings to be playable on the deck it’s unplayable to me not trying to play games in terrible graphics thank you this game is not optimized well for the deck

    I think it’s safe to say the Deck can’t keep up with new releases anymore. Like, yeah, it works, but would you really want to play SM2 in what basically looks like unstable 480p at best? This isn’t comparable to the experience on console or a desktop PC

    I highly recommend dynamic resolution for games that have both open world areas and confined areas.

    What do you think about putting on frame gen then limiting to 30fps cap ?

    I did that with the new god of war and it runs so damn smooth while not having many dips because it isn’t fluctuating as much

    I feel like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle played and looked a little better now that I've played about thirty minutes of the game. It stutters a lot even at a locked 30 FPS on low settings.

    Not bad! maybe there will be mods that can tweak the graphics to be lower than low so it could run it better? is the bottleneck GPU or CPU based?

    About why sm2 didn’t come out for 4, it was basically purely cause of the hard drive.
    The traversal speeds you can reach in 2 can be more than 2 times that of the first and Miles spin off.
    But if it weren’t for the web swinging, it probably could have been possible for the PS4.
    But overall, another impressive port by Nixxies. Wasn’t even really thinking about if SM2 would be playable on the deck, but here we are.

    1:02:45 yes frame gen is crap at 30 base. There's a bunch of steam deck YouTube channels where I almost want to call them liars they'll pretend somehow modding in amd frame gen in final fantasy rebirth is great and the latency penalty isn't noticeable yeah sure bud

    Frame gen in spiderman remastered was decent but i had a solid 40-45fps locked and i could tell my latency was off but not enough to turn frame gen off. I can't imagine how bad the latency is at 30 😂😂😂😂

    Sony announced this as a game without PSN.

    But still lock in region dont have psn.

    I saw the game and added toy wishlish. Then i was planning to buy it…..then it wasn't in my wishlish. So manually search. It says ITS NOT AVAILABLE IN MY REGION. WTF!
