  1. They agro'd because Lydia attacked. Any friendlies that you engage in combat will become an enemy to your follower. Also never use a shout within a town where friendly NPCs exist.

  2. welcome to skyrim, bugs and unintended scripts and such. Bethesda keeps Releasing new versions of skyrim but never really fixes the more hurtful of bugs and such.

  3. ive never had this happen so this isnt about having a follower, its because the companions are buggy af. the part where you come back from the dungeon and they all form a circle and talk about you is the buggiest part of the whole companions. the problem is that farkas or vilkas (cant remember which) gets stuck and doesnt show up and at that point in the quest you cant move or do anything until he shows up so it forces you to either wait and hope or reload a save to try and get him out there. so fucking annoying. im all for skyrim's "features" but they need to fix the quest bugs because every quest bug ive encountered completely breaks the game.

  4. If you don't answer the giving command mode and don't give her a specific order to wait or not to get involved she will get involved? You really need to tell her to wait here and then go do your thing

  5. pretty sure its a bug. i always made my follower wait for me somewhere for that part.

  6. I got banned from Riften potion shop once because my follower decided to pick a fight for no reason

  7. Tell her to wait before you do things. Horses and followers, two things that die often … just saying 😂

  8. Hard to think back to when I first played, though I know I explored everything. Yet I still learn new stuff

  9. This is why lydia always stays at the dungeon entrance 😂, mainly to help take back the loot 😂😂😂

  10. I had the same thing happen to me in the play-through I recently started, luckily bringing my sword out and putting it away again made Lydia chill 😂

  11. I had this happen to me when my follower didn't even attack. I died three times before I figured out what was going on.

  12. Yeah, as soon as you draw a weapon your follower will be right in there. In order to prevent carnage there are certain situations you might ask your follower to stay. Look for a spell that heals both of you. Check seller’s books. Later in the game there are three horses that behave the same way, depending on how far you get on.
