It used to be a sort of unspoken rule in DS1 and 2 that while invading healing was a no go. It was a duel to the death. I guess DS2 took that a step further and blocked estus use while invading.
Played DS2 a while back, got to the Huntsman's Copse and was invaded by an actual player some time ago, sad to say he got messed up, but it was fun to see people still invading.
my favorite thing to do when i get invaded is just use chameleon and hide lmao ive gotten so many people to leave after like 5 or 10 minutes of them just searching.
Phantons not being able to use estus is the best decision they ever made. Otherwise it just becomes the shit fest DS3 and ER invasions are. Most players even in group wont have heal spells. If you have a strong build 600-800 AR you can squash 4 people just yourself alone
Guys use blue acolyte, not just for the infinite red eye orbs, but is also a anti-cheat and backups your saves automaticaly. The creator of BlueAcolyte is the same that made Seemless Coop for elden
DS2 PvP is my favorite. Hell, DS2 is my guilty pleasure. Watching all of these was the most fun I had on YouTube this month, I can never get enough DS2. 1 was great, but chain backstabs and escapes are all it is. 3 is just ganks. Elden Ring is a shitshow. Bloodborne doesn't exist. Demon's Souls is a hushed myth. But 2? Oh man the passion behind DS2. And, you didn't even mention the Arenas! Red and Blue arenas are so great, 1v1 duels were both sides play by the invader rules. Then there is the Ancient Dragon Covenant where you summon a 1v1 player. Not invader, player, where both sides can use estus and divine blessings. And that parry was so damn hype! Parry into Soul Greatsword has done me in enough times I saw that shit coming so damn quick! And that halberd backstep into Soul Greatsword, oh that was also a spectacle to see! Thank you for this, I may kick my streams back online with some DS2 set up to relive this!
ds2 has great invasions but its netcode is the worst one. lol 105 = actual iframes. 105 = actually able to use an estus/cast spells fast enough to be useful

I had to check that you are not ACE. That poor dude had a go of it last few days.
This games movement makes my eyes melt out of my skull and my ears ring.
This was a very fun watch.
I used the witch's staff before but instead used the red iron twin blade instead of blue flame I know of its benefits…
Ds2 invasions my beloved ❤
