hello, can you tell us if there is a free mode (after the end of the story) with some missions (the goal is to unblock some funny cars and roadsters) like in the original game? i asked the channel of 2k france but no answer of the community manager… sorry for my english (french fan ^^)

Please stop using the word definitive edition, you can be more creative guys, here´s an example Mafia Blood Family, Mafia kiss of death, Mafia Family Reunion or Mafia Welocome to the Family.
Things they need to make before full release add a hardcore difficulty where
1. Reloading with bullets in the magazine drops them instead of haveing them in reserve
2. Gunfight animations should be slowed down
3. Getting shot while in cover makes tommy flinch
4. Throwables behind cover should have a short disapearing line (or no line at all) and animation should be slower and a little bit with more emotions
5. The first shoot of all gums has more recoil (for automatic weapons)
6. Shooting makes tom flinch a little bit
7. Tom should not aim like a mercenary with pistols but have a more natural way of learning the gun through the mission progression
8. Car accidents above 30mph should have horrific damges made to the car and whoever is in it
9. Some more animations for the ai while fighting may be needed" but this is mostly a preference "
Now this are the thing that will make mafia fans buy thr game, a balance from the hardcore mafia 1 lovers and the newcomers. I would apriciate if this comment gets some likes and maby 2k games can even respond to it.
Ok, needs slower reloads, no fast molotovs or grenades, and what i disliked the most, unspent bullets on your magazine magically reapear at your inventory when you reload, even in the original you lose unspent rounds when you reload "making every bullet count". With the revolver you can clearly see him dumping all 6 rounds on the ground, but when he reloads, only 4 rounds is reloaded from the inventory, this was something the original addressed with realism

I'm so happy for this game, i pre-ordered it today!
The thing I see as the problem is car damage when raming into things, there is almost no damage at all. Second thing is puddles all over the town even if its a sunny day, I know they're showing off the reflections but it doesnt have sense, and finally when you're on the bike, it looks like you're glued to it, if you ram into something Tommy doesnt fall of the bike he is stuck onto it. We are in 2020., its time that these kind of things get resolved in game development. This game deserves 110% attention nothing less. Its a classic

I'll be honest I'm a huge fan of the originals gunplay but this actually seems okay. Id prefer a more classic style but its at least decent gunplay. Although the highlight of the game for me is the story, so I actually like that theres more cinematics. Thats just my two cents

Dear developers at Hangar 13 / 2K please add an OPTION to Mafia 1 Definitive Edition to DISABLE dynamic world symbols such as intersection turn signs, 3D destination markers, NPC symbols floating above their heads etc.! We want an immersive experience without all the screen clutter! Hundreds of Mafia 1 original gamers want to experience this game as pure as possible and with maximum immersion! The symbols on the minimap are more than enough to navigate through Lost Heaven and its missions! Please add this option to the final build!!

What the hell they did to Paulie? He's supposed to look and sound more like Joe pesci! And what sets the mood for "a trip to the country" it's the lack of music as you are looking for Sam
Gamers this game is a show, but the problem of most gamers singler players, is weak artificial intelligence, which makes the game sickening (a little dull).
The only thing that looks better is the graphics, wish they used original voice actors or dialogue, gunplay is off and WTF is it with throwing Molotov cocktails, they look like they have no weight and levitate from Tommy's hands. I hope they don't drop the ball because I really want this to be good as the original with better graphics.

I Wil never gonna buy a máfia game again. While the máfia 3 definitive edition still bugged trophies you take the whole game to fill the requiriments and the trophie still dont pop.
