In the settings, there's an option for auto-pickup. It automatically picks up materials when you're next to them so you don't have to keep pressing triangle so many times
Start using the bow while laying in long grass for stealth kills and set nail bombs then use bottles or bricks to attract the enemy into them, stops you from being detected 🤷🏽♂️😊

you don’t need to throw anything or shoot out windows. just press square when you’re near them and eillie will hit them with the handle of her knife

I don't know how far ahead these videos are recorded but make sure to stop and read Ellie's diary from time to time to see her state of mind and thoughts throughout
Try to keep it in mind to check on your journal after any long cutscenes. For example you missed one of Ellie's notes since you didn't turn back the page after drawing the owl in Joel's house .

Going through his home and seeing all the creative projects he'll never finish… yeah, this game hurt me in so many ways (I say affectionately. Any game that can elicit that many tears out of me is a 10/10 lol). And one definitely doesn't have to have traumatically lost a parent in order to 'get' it, but I definitely feel a connection to the grief process portrayed in this game.
If we've learned anything so far, it's that Dina is the best person ever, and never get attached to horses.
10:59 Joel was learning about the things Ellie likes to get closer to her. Space, Dinosaurs, anything to feel close to her as a sort of daughter. It started with the comics in the first game.

The entertainment value in games like this. Well worth the money. I've played both many times and always come back. Game play , graffics ,I'd rather this than pay to see a movie.
