The full loot vs rush was my biggest point of confusion learning consistency in the game. That video helped me a lot last year and I've lost very few runs on my eclipse climb because of it. I do think the rushing phase I had helped me to full loot more efficiently once I learned that full looting was better, but otherwise rushing never felt like a good strategy. Every run felt cope.

I will say one thing about the False Son boss fight is that it's very intense with how punishing it is, which when combined with the emotionally highs and lows of Chris' music, makes for a very addicting climatic showdown. Which makes it suck more because the fight could be more engaging and most importantly a fair fight, hopefully the devs reworking the boss encounter help fully realise this wish of mine.
i find Lights Out a lot more fun because spamming r on every weak enemy like i'm on aimlabs is super satisfying. On the other hand, when i have desperado, my minmaxxer brain can't resist waiting to kill every enemy, making the fast-paced character feel very slow

The thing you mentioned about not being able to talk to someone and type at the same time is associated with something called Auditory Processing Disorder, it's very common for people with ADHD and/or Autism. I can't do that either and also if two people are speaking at the same time it just sounds garbled. Same if music has any lyrics in it, I struggle to understand most lyrics because of the stylization.

quick question: lately when I've been playing, I've gotten a ton of lag on sky meadows. It starts off managable, but drops to around 10-15 fps during tp. My settings are pretty low, and this only happens on this stage. Is there a mod I could use to fix this?
6:33 lights out is only really fun when you get a backup mag printer, 'cause then you can just hemorage everything, otherwise it feels like a secondary

Ok, skipping blinds in balatro is incredibly strong once you hit whatever stake that makes the first blind not give you anything (unless you’re using yellow deck), and even if you don’t normally like skipping blinds because of money and the shop, there’s some very strong tags that can work with the deck that gives you double tags or specialized jokers like the root beer. It doesn’t really feel like that for most roguelites though.
