In this video I am sharing my top beginner tips for new players in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This Skyrim new player guide covers the basic considerations of character creation and progression, such as race, skills and perks, as well as a bunch of essential things to do early on in Skyrim, such as joining the various guilds and making some easy gold to get you started. There are also a bunch of Skyrim tips that highlight some of the things that you can simply miss while playing because the game doesn’t necessarily point it out to you. Anyway, hopefully this helps you to get started in Skyrim and helps you to avoid making some of the mistakes that I did!

    I only ever played a little bit of it years ago. But got a switch for Christmas and got Skyrim so, here I am 13 yrs after its release

    vr is incredible. just gotta find time to ease into it. can’t just dive right in. It adds so much depth, being able to actually hold and examine ur weapon, walking thru the various holds is breathtaking

    Are you kidding me? The first thing I did when I got to Riwerwood for the first time was kill a chicken thinking "whatever, I just killed a deer running into the village, what could possibly go wrong?" Well, didn't even get a chance to blink and there I was laying dead. 😂

    I really dont get why people are so persistent in saying not to mod ur game, play a full playthrough. not everyone plans to play multiple playthroughs, im not a single player guy the fact im even playing skrim is a huge shock to my friends. im modding the game as i play and got 15 mods before i even started. i have no idea if ill enjoy the game enough to play it twice so im modding the game now instead of finishing the game without mods and realizing i dont wanna play another playthrough. i feel like hard core skyrim players genuinely think everyone is going to get addicted and put thousands of hours into the game.

    I love the alternate dialogue you get if you do things out of order. I hate the thieves guild, they pretty much tell you to join them.

    I remember my first time going to a Giant camp, thinking i could defeat it with my iron sword. That's when i discovered the Skyrim space program.

    People get motion sickness because they are unintelligent and cannot control their brain. I have been into VR since Google cardboard in 2015. Never had the slightest twitch of motion sickness.
