The Star Fox team, led by Fox McCloud, is a band of mercenaries hired by General Pepper to defend the Lylat system from the mad scientist Andross. Alongside Peppy Hare, Falco Lombardi, and Slippy Toad, Fox battles Andross’ forces, including the rival Star Wolf team. After uncovering Andross’ sinister plans on Venom, Fox faces him in a climactic showdown, ultimately destroying the villain. With their mission complete, Star Fox declines joining the Cornerian Army, choosing to continue their mercenary work.
