I really hope they don't fuck up the driving, even by looking at the chase scene, I dont know the cars kind of look odd like they're on rails, and it doesn't help that it seems like the bullets don't do any significant damage…..

i am very very sceptic, but i will buy it anyway for old times sake.
the gameplay looks good but somehow not very creative.. sceptic.. sometimes it looks too easy, not challenging

why do the characters look so.. i don't know.. simple..and bored… i really liked the characters from Mafia 2.
what i wanna say is.. somehow i think this game is missing salt and pepper.

Never played it before but I'm gonna change that
I had an idea for RDR3 being about Jack Marston as a mobster and this video comes closest to how I picture it.
The shooting doesent look fun and the reticle is ugly as fuck.

The shooting seems very familiar to Mafia 3, which is a good thing for me, because I really liked shooting in Mafia 3 because it felt heavy and weight into it.
It looks super meh
Animations are same from Mafia 3, gorilla with one handed 1911 is not what proper fan of Mafia need. Using a gun should be challenging like 1st part, player need to get used to Tommy Gun's recoil, slowness of reloading the revolver, low capacity of 1911's mag.
Same retarded AI from Mafia 3, cop is just running into the barn with his hands down.
Poly looks like ugly kid, in original Mafia he looked like a tough gangster, not this school bully.
Unfortunately, graphics looks amazing, roads at the start of a mission is beautiful.
Clothes of characters are good looking too.
It's my opinion tho, if you are kid and liked that, it's very good, pre-order this pulp and after completing this go and play original Mafia, it's still very good even in 2020.

I wonder if they're going to include:
– Car denting mechanics like the one in Mafia 1 (If you hit the side of the car, the side bends, if you hit the back of the car, the back bends, and so on.), cars that don't explode if you hit them with a baseball bat.
– Cops that don't shoot on sight and try to arrest you if you haven't shot a gun yet; especially fine you if you went over the legal speed.
– Freeride (the one with the special quest cars) and Freeride Extreme from Mafia 1, as well as every Easter Egg from there.
– Being able to hold two large weapons; one permanently, and one in your hands that you'll have to throw away if you want to use something else. The same goes for five other small weapons, melee or pistols. 5+1.
– Working gas stations from Mafia 1
– Citizens that actually get in and leave their cars, and go on with their business; citizens you can interact with (on a minimum level).
– Rolling mechanic.
– Working trains and metros.
– Being able to run along the rails of the overhead trains would be a nice change too, even if you couldn't do that in Mafia 1.
– Being able to enter any seat of the car that you want; as well as being able to shoot a gun from any seat.
– All the little secrets from around the missions, such as being able to block the door in Molotov Party using a box or a car, being able to get drunk on the ship mission, or being able to pee in the fourth mission, the one with the motel; another one I'd wish to see would be the secret route Morello can take during the sixteenth mission. (If you prevent him from entering the airport, he will continue driving the car until he reaches a dead end, then subsequently Tommy using his car to ram him off the cliff.)
– Your allies firing at you if you shoot them, especially during the first missions of the game; everyone will turn hostile if you shoot them.
Pity they don't appear to have used the original voice actors 🙁

I just finished Mafia 2002 for the first time before this remaster release. When I see what you have done I see that you have done a faithfull and serious work. I hope there will be no bugs because the game deserve a great release for a great IP. Do The God Father after this one ,)

Everyting happens way too quickly, reloading, movement, looks like shit. Slow it down, make it realistic. (I know it wont happen)

I know us fans have been asking for years for this! So I only hope it as immersive as the orginal…. I really hope the city is full of life…. street vendors,npc's talking an doing stuff. Mafia 2 even had that charm.

Looks amaizing, but I can tell that I'm gonna miss the back kick of a guns from original Mafia that will force you to counter that while each shot. So far I'm not sure if that part of this game (shooting) will be better or at least good… New cinematics looks fine, but kinda more Hollywood style than it supposed to be. Can't tell if this is a bad or good thing… I just hope that they won't screw up the driving mechanism, 'cause you could feel those heavy, slow cars with no grip in original game really great. Two main game elements (shooting, driving) beside storyline that are the key to the success.
