Head to the center of the Gaia’s Navel and enter the cave. The girl will leave IF you didn’t go with her to inspect the Skull Pillars in the Haunted Forest. If you did, and she commented on them, you can take her into Gaia’s Navel with you with no fuss. This isn’t necessary with the patch “Gaia’s Navel with Girl without Doubling Back” which is a mouthful to say of course. Fight through enemies to find the Dwarf Village. You can gear up your characters at the item and armor shop, check out the blacksmith to enhance the sword and begin forging an Axe for you to claim later. Then check out the stage show in the back (left path) which requires 150 GP (Gold Pieces) which you can retrieve by going into the back room (right path) after the show. Exit afterward to fight a boss named Tropicalo. Be wary of the Vines and try to take them out early. Whenever the Boss is above ground, hit it to prevent it from spamming Pumpkin Bombs, these can be avoided but they chase you forever, until either hitting you, or you attack via Sword, Spear, or Fist. If you attack to destroy the pumpkin, be wary of the explosion before moving forward in that same direction.

Secret of Mana, originally released in Japan as Seiken Densetsu 2, is a 1993 action role-playing game developed and published by Square for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the sequel to the 1991 game Seiken Densetsu, released in North America as Final Fantasy Adventure and in Europe as Mystic Quest, and it was the first Seiken Densetsu title to be marketed as part of the Mana series rather than the Final Fantasy series. Set in a high fantasy universe, the game follows three heroes as they attempt to prevent an empire from conquering the world with the power of an ancient flying fortress.
