  1. bloodborne is one of my fav games of all time its definetely worth a play its a souls type of game and also with these games as you may or may not know there is almost always a mastercrafted soundtrack to boot and its no exception with bloodborne it has some of the best tracks you're likely gonna hear in video games and you already got a bit of a taste of it in these trailers and it's expansion is also best in class honestly

  2. Bloodborne was my second souls type game. And my favorite of them all. I replay this game each year during October.

    You should definitely play it.

  3. “I’m still not sure I fully grasp it….”

That’s pretty much the mantra when it comes to FromSoft games’ storylines. Their game director had an interview around when Bloodborne came out where he talked about reading books in English as a child that he could only understand bits and pieces of and how he likes to evoke that feeling in his games of finding scraps of info that might not fully make sense without the connective-tissue information to contextualize it all for us.

Bloodborne was my first FromSoft games and is one of my favorite games of all time. the aesthetic is peak, the story is awesomely disturbing and disturbingly awesome, and the gameplay is tight and fast paced and so rewarding to master.

We are born of the blood.
    Made men by the blood.
    Undone by the blood.
Our eyes are yet to open.
    Fear the Old Blood.

  4. Basically people discovered magic blood and godstuff. Using which, the goal was to evolve and was.somewhat accomplished, more so in some individuals than others. Also it is kind of almost nighttime.

  5. Bloodborne was the first From soft game I completed, its one of the best games ever made, it's fantastic.nthebmusic in phenomenal, the atmosphere is dark and beautiful and grim. The very basic story line of the game is that it's based the the city of Yarnham, a Victorian inspired city built on the foundations of the ruined former city of Old Yarnham that was lost to the plague of beasts. Way back in the history of the city, some scholars who were doing an excavation in some old dungeons, found a god like creature and experimented with its blood to try and elevate themselves to godlike status. The use of the blood created 2 factions; the healing church who believed in the use of blood and worshipped it and even offered it to normal people as a method of healing and the other faction who rejected the use of the blood, the scholars of bergynworth, who believed in gaining knowledge and "eyes inside your head" they tried to create their own god, and the people who follow this mantra of gaining higher knowledge cover eyes, you'll see a few characters in the trailers who have covered their eyes as they no longer need them to see.
The old blood that began to be given to pretty much everyone as a cure all has a terrible side effect of turning those who receive it into beasts, normal people would transform into beasts, so they had to deal with it and thus the hunters were formed. First from the healing church and then a secondary, non-healing church faction of Hunters. Their job is to go out at night and hunt the beasts.
The player character is an outsider, who comes to Yarnham and receives a blood transfusion of the old blood and signs a contract to become a Hunter. Your role during the game is to hunt beasts and find an end to the night, only the whole city has pretty much gone mad.
It's an absolutely epic game and it's bloody flawless in my opinion.

  6. bloodborne is one of my favorite games of all time, and easily my favorite souls game. it’s got a beautifully haunting world, and weird but intriguing story. it’d be cool to see you check it out, just be ready for a steep learning curve and some frustration when starting out if you do

  7. It's always interesting seeing people theorize what bloodborne is about based off of trailers. Just like me way back lol. It's really mindblowing when you discover what it's actually about while finally playing it and avoiding spoilers
