Since 2016 we’ve been chipping away at a seemingly impossible feat: Remake Oblivion in Skyrim’s engine. Today, we’re less than a year away from achieving that goal.

Watch along with us as we take you behind the scenes to share the exact progress we’ve made on Skyblivion and what we have left to finalize before our 2025 release. With the Elder Scrolls communities support we’ll be able to finish the final steps in completing our dream of remaking Oblivion for a new generation to enjoy.

Together, we’ll once again close shut the jaws of Oblivion in 2025.

    i sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart for your hard work and dedication throughout the years on this project, i'm sure this means a lot to whoever grew on playing oblivion as it was, and it will rekindle those memories in everyone who will be playing this. as someone who grew little on playing oblivion but fully on playing skyrim, i am grateful for everything that you do, and am eagerly waiting for this to come out. I will never be able to fully express my gratitude for what you're all doing, but know that it's more than appreciated, people will be making memories that will forever stay with them because of you. once again, thank you.

    I've been awaiting its release since I learned about it a few years ago! I want to play Oblivion so bad, but its relatively dated graphics prevented me from fully enjoying it as I did at its release so long ago. I really wish I had a skill that was necessary to help this project along, because I'd love to help! Keep up the good work team, this will surely be the best game content I'll have the pleasure to enjoy in 2025!

    I still regularly think about Skyblivion randomly throughout the year. For 10 years now. Just asking "man whatever happened with that? Probably abandoned. Shame, would totally still play it…"

    I admit, I genuinely thought this had been abandoned years ago…but still remember thinking about it many times last year.

    Pretty exciting stuff, the dedication to your passion is truly inspirational. 👏👏

    Apparently, Bethesda is working on a remaster for oblivion. I don’t think it will live up to this at all. This is clearly a work of love and appreciation that transcends corporate and legal boundaries.

    I get goosebumps while watching this. It's like a gaming dream comes true! Together with kcd2 this is everything I need to play on 2025.
    I am so hyped and I am craving to feel oblivion like the first time I played it.

    asking out of curiosity. does bethesda even allow such games? or will this be a huge patch to the original game, so only those who own a copy of oblivion can play it.
