Happy New Year everyone! In our first video of 2025 we’ll be diving into one of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s most fascinating theories – a conspiracy theory suggesting there’s more to meet the eye in the humble farming village of Rorikstead.

  1. Happy New Year everybody! Got a feeling 2057 will be my year! I haven't forgotten about the Skyrim videos, was just doing other things for a bit but the rotation has come back around. Enjoy!

  2. Dozing to this on the couch and being super discombobulated hearing Oblivion music whilst you talk about Skyrim. Now I know what a skooma addict feels like

  3. I know it's Creation Club content, but the inclusion of Goldenhills a stones throw from Rorikstead does actually add even more fuel to the conspiracy fire.

A family of three, one of whom was an avid and SECRETIVE alchemist & mage, whose own husband wasn't even aware of her alchemy, and believed it was she who murdered him via poison. But she was unaware of his distrust, and we find her dead body in her hidden alchemy cove with an ace embedded in her chest. Furthermore, we see the three family members happily reunited at the end of that super mini quest to unlock Goldenhills for ourselves.

So we have another mother, murdered, but whose body was left in her hidden alchemy den. A husband, distrustful of his wife, poisoned and left for dead in front of his home. And lastly, a child attempting to be brave, but also ending up dead, presumably killed by wolves. But maybe somebody (or multiple somebody's) from the nearby village took it upon theirself to use this secluded family to further enrich the souls of their land…

  4. I've literally never had a dragon spawn in either Rorikstead or Falkreath, and I'm beginning to get a little worried about why they seem so intent to scream at specifically those two towns for everyone else. They show up in Whiterun hold and Falkreath hold often enough, sure, but never over those settlements for me, even when playing completely vanilla.

  5. No matter if I plan on adopting them or not, Lemkil ends up taking a dirt nap in every playthrough I do, just for how abusive he is to the girls.

  6. On the name of the town part, my rationalization is he bought the land because ancestors of his had it previously but kept losing it. Maybe they didn't pay their taxes.

  7. The kind of wishes and bargains that Clavicus Vile makes are what's called Monkey's Paw arrangements. He twists what the partitioner asks in a way that is cruel and not at all what they intended simply by applying a different context to their words. This sort of thing is also seen in most of the wishes granted by Calypso in Twisted Metal. A perfect example in that case is where Outlaw asks for "a world without Twisted Metal" and ends up being stranded in the void of space instead.

  8. Skyrim is a boring game, with a boring story, boring gameplay and shitty graphics but godam do I love videos like this about it.

  9. Your content has helped motivate me to continue using my brain while recouping between work. Certainly helped me through my final college semester! And now, during my job search. Thank you for sharing, as always. I love the way you organize your research/story telling & the personality you put into your work. [: Another great video!
