Such a shame that we will never be able to play as counsellor online ever again. Here’s me rambling about what I had left when I loaded the game this morning on 1st Jan 2025. If you own Savini Jason from the backer days and still have the gane installed and saved data on your console then he should still be playable. I assume the same is true on pc.
For offline bots players are stuck with Part 3 Jason, Retro Jason and Part 5 Jason / Roy Burns. You may have access to a different Jason in challenges depending on what one you used the last time you played them before the servers shut down. For me I am lucky enough to have Part 8 Jason useable on all challenges
This video also contains some gameplay captured since the server shutdown showing (a challenge as Part 8 Jason and an offline bot round as Savini Jason) as well as some Virtual Cabin exploration and some crazy never before seen highlights from my final online Friday’s!

There was so much detail put into that game. I enjoyed the sounds and graphics.
Wish fans can reverse engineer the game and make a fan version so it can be free to play.

Man this is sad af, I always loved this game back then and I still do even tho there's practically nothing left.
I think there should be a class action lawsuit for one will participating in one this is called stealing hundreds and hundreds of hours unlocking all those Jason figures all the kills. That is your hard earned stuff that you earned.
Even though the servers are down is still able to play against bots for them to take away all of your Jason’s and all of your progress is called stealing
You paid for skins and outfits and more things on the game that is all erased that is called stealing especially if the game can be played single player
If anyone else feels this way, like this is a big slap in your face then we should do something about it

happy new year im really sad that this epic games shutted down because of some stupid papers
I have been testing this out and it either seems there is a difference between the nintendo switch version of the game or the ultimate slasher edition on my part, when I log into the playstation version of the game (my ps5 does not have the ultimate slasher edition bundle) i am locked out of every level locked jason and also cannot swap my weapons and cant select kills on offline bots but on my nintendo switch ultimate slasher edition physical some wierd oddities take place, I am able to play as every jason and choose 1 bloody skin from the ultimate slasher edition but when i finish a challenge or offline bots match the game locks me out of every jason but if i exit the game and go back in I unlock them again somehow. I think its something to do with the code of the switch version or the ultimate slasher edition
So I got my last game in just before midnight got the escape so I’m happy for that but I lost everything after the game ended because once they let every player become a level 150 everything pretty much got deleted on my account which I had to re-put back even though I was a legit level 150 with everything unlocked I really only use Jason part 8 so I didn’t really set up all the other Jason‘s and now I can’t even use any of them except for three and five which I don’t have set up and I only have two kills so I’m pretty disappointed with the off-line experience now because I have absolutely nothing when I earned everything before any of this happened years ago
You can still use whatever jason you last used against bots. And I have physical and digital copies. I have this on ps4 and 5 and I have duplicate accounts on my son's account therefore I have 8 versions of the game and access to every skin. I was prepared for this sad day.

You can still play online if you know where to look.
It's quite sad that this game is gone. There is a pc version that still works until Jan 8th, and then it will be offline until sometime in mid-2025.

I'm gonna miss this game even though I never actually had a chance to play. It was a lot of fun to watch videos and translations. Rip for this game, It will be missed.

you have to login to have access to everything
even the offline mode is dead because ages ago we lost all our CP so no Jasons are unlocked or the kills

People should get on all of their social media accounts and demand one final update to rectify this! There’s no reason that anyone should not have access to anything they’ve unlocked or purchased before the shutdown!
I used to play this when you were able to glitch on the roof and drop props without it showing on the map. Time flies : (

On Xbox I can't even click on anything at all. When I get to the menu it doesn't even let me select offline or anything else
The Xbox version is very frustratingly broken so you can’t play it offline! If you try to you can’t select anything on the main menu. I was a Kickstarter backer too so I have Savini Jason but now I can’t even play the game on my Xbox.
This sucks… cuz there’s clearly a bunch of people who still like playing this game… whoever is a fan of Jason will always come back to it… I loved it, I really wish this didn’t happen

I had a lot of good times with this game! My kids were younger and would watch me play, cheering me on if I was Jason! I'm very grateful to have experienced it when I did!
