  1. The team is playing with heart right now, a lot of the bop is out of the lineup, so the guys are using pitching, and getting some fortunate breaks to win games.

  2. think about when the lineup is fully healthy….need a 1st baseman to give Olson a break

  3. Man, I hope Call is alright. I hate achilles injuries. He was having a good season for the Nats, too.

  4. I'm a Braves fan, but I HATE the man on 2nd rule in extra innings. . . That's just stupid as hell

  5. A win is a win but the offense has to get much better before we can have any hope of getting to the playoffs, I really don’t expect to get there and even if we do it will be an early exit if we can’t get the offense going. Don’t mean to be a pessimist but it’s just facts.

  6. 38 straight outs by Raphael, braves still struggling with runners in scoring position, but we're pulling it out, meanwhile we're gaining ground on the Phillies

  7. I am fed up with Soler's lack of hustle in the outfield. Lollygaggin on the field. Lollygaggin off the field. You what that makes him? A lollygagger. Get him out.

  8. Second and third with no one out and we can't score at all? Oh Well, at least we won ,even though it wasn't the prettiest or most exciting win

  9. With all the injuries this team has and to still be able to compete and in position for the po season is amazing. This season could have easily been a wash but management seems to always find the right players to come in and compete absolutely a great job by AA.

  10. Tell you what I really am impressed at these widened strike zones that strangely only Braves opponents tend to get. Real mystery of modern baseball I tell you

  11. At 8 minutes, watching the turn for the double play Orlando made with that beautiful jump and throw, then watching CJ Abrams make a little league crap toss one hop to cost his team the game, you understand why Orlando provides value even when he's not hitting as well as he did last year. Coincidentally happens in a game where his bat started to really show a lot more life

  12. Like I said before the Braves have to blow out under 500 teams to me it is showing weakness. Talk about the luck of the Braves.

  13. Great game tonight for Chris, both as a pitcher and the decision to "look" the runner back at third. The throw by Olson back to the plate was perfect. The runner had no chance. Also, these "No Name" and "Throw Away" by other teams guys are getting it done in Atlanta.. Once they get on the field they just want to show that they deserve the chance to be a "player". Problem is, once the regulars get well and get back, what do you do with these "winners" that have kept the ball club alive in their absence. Good problem to have but these fill-ins have proven that they can play at this level.

  14. Great night at the plate by Arcia. If he's going well, there still, really, aren't any holes in this lineup. The difference is there isn't nearly as much power, so the hitting cannot fall off much at all.

  15. As luck would have it the Braves won this one , But a couple of examples of poor base running almost cost us the game . When you are trying to steal second and you hear the crack of the bat , WHY would you slide ? He should have scored on that play , and then he gets tagged out on the next play with another bonehead running error .

  16. Can somebody tell me what is wrong with the play by play announcers Indies baseball games, I can't believe how simple routine plays become reasons for them to start shouting is if these guys had made miracle plays specially at second base and at shortstop, what would these guys be doing in the days of Derek Jeter or any other player from the 70s and 80s era, these guys are to calm down there's absolutely nothing extraordinary about what these players are doing on the diamond it's all routine.
