  1. The Braves had me worried tonight before the 7th inning but Duvall and Ozuna came through with super missiles, well pitched game by Lopez, so let's continue on.

  2. Notes from the Game:

+ Reynaldo Lopez with ANOTHER SOLID OUTING! 6 Innings of 2-Run, 6-Hit Ball, Walking 1 and Striking Out 7! Unfortunately, he gets ANOTHER NO-Decision, Keeping him at 3-2 with an ERA of 1.85. He's been a Genuine SURPRISE since Joining Atlanta, and I pray he can keep this up!

+ The Bullpen with ANOTHER SHUTDOWN JOB! Bummer, Jimenez, and Iglesias Combine to SILENCE the Nationals over the Final 3 Innings, Pitching PERFECTLY and not allowing a SINGLE Baserunner. Bummer gets the Win in Relief with a PERFECT 7th Inning while Striking Out 1, improving to 2-2 with an ERA of 3.38, while Iglesias gets his 16th Save of the Season, Completing the 9th on JUST 9 PITCHES! An EXCELLENT RESULT!

ROTATION TOTAL: 9 Innings, 2 Runs, 6 Hits, 1 Walk, 9 Strike Outs, 2 Home Runs Allowed.

It took 6 Innings, but the Braves' Offense JUMP-STARTED in the 7th and Proceeded to BURY Hunter Harvey in the 8th!

+ DUUUUVALLL Got the Offense Started in the 7th with a GAME-TYING TWO-RUN SUPER MISSILE INTOTHEBULLPEN! That would be his ONLY Hit, as he finished 1-3. Duvall Clings to a .195 Average, .665 OPS, and 6 Home Runs on the Season!

+ AUSTIN 3:16 GETS THE DECISIVE HIT! 1-4 WITH THE GO-AHEAD, GAME DECISIVE RBI SINGLE IN THE 8TH! Riley holds onto a .232 Average with an OPS of .657!

+ THE BIG BEAR WITH THE CRITICAL BLOW! 2-4 with a Single in the 7th and a TWO-RUN SUPER MISSILE OVERTHEBULLPEN IN THE 8TH! Ozuna Stands in with a .312 Average, 1.000 OPS, and 18 Homers on the Year!

+ OTHER NOTABLES: Albies, Olson, and Arcia earned 1 Hit Each. SHOCKINGLY, NO BRAVE Recorded a Walk Tonight, though Only 3 Braves went down via the K: Ozuna, Olson, and Arcia, and only Once. So PLENTY of Contact was being made, just not resulting in Hits.

+ A GOOD BOUNCEBACK after getting our LIGHTS PUNCHED OUT on the way out of Boston. Washington may be on a Losing Streak, but this is the BEST Opportunity for the Braves to get back on track!

+ With the Mets and Phillies Travelling to the U.K., and the Marlins on Bye, it means the Braves gain a Critical 1/2 Game on Philadelphia, putting them 7 1/2 Games Back of the Phillies, while they now stand 9 Games Ahead of the Mets and Nationals and 15 Games Ahead of Miami.

    TOMORROW:

ROUND 2 OF 4 Between the Braves and Nationals will take place Under the Lights of Nationals Park. Jake Irvin will answer the call for the Nats, Who's coming off a Respectable Performance against the Guardians, in which he earned the win, allowing just 2 Runs on 5 Hits and 1 Walk in 6 Innings of Work.

Meanwhile, CHRIS SALE will take up Battle Stations for the Braves, Who looks to Shake Off a HORRIFIC Start against the Athletics, in which he allowed 8 runs on 9 Hits in only 4 Innings of Work. He Earned 'NL PITCHER OF THE MONTH' Honors after going 5-0 with an ERA of 0.56 in May!

Can Sale and the Braves Make it 3 Wins in the last 4 Games?

Or will Irvin and the Nationals Continue the Painful Cycle for the Bravos?

We Will Find Out at 6:45 P.M. EDT on MASN (Nationals) & Bally Sports Southeast (Braves)!

    SoundFX09, Signing Out!

  3. Lopez, Fried, Sale and Ozuna are the reason we're over .500. They should be all-stars this year.

  4. Notes From my Brain
    +That other guy is boring
    +Braves won
    +I just watched the highlights

  5. nice win, but can we please stop leaving people on base? at least hit a single…

  6. Been such a weird year. Started off first 30 games best team in the league. Offense was unstoppable. Then losing streak, now they won lose win lose win lose win lose. They just need a break. All/Star break needs to hurry up

  7. One game at the time but honestly I need them to str8 up win all 4 of these. Get to 38-25 and take that momentum into the next series. They’re due for a streak

  8. I really think Reynaldo Lopez is turning out to be the diamond in the rough nobody was expecting to be so amazing.

  9. The schedule makers really need to do a better job, we've played the Nationals twice in a week and a half but haven't played the Phillies since the first 3 games of the year

  10. With that mostly white outfield, their 9th inning dance needs to be a clog.

  11. Idk wtf the offense needs to do to get going, but they gotta figure it out, or we gotta say this is what they are.

  12. I just never get enough of Braves fans coming on here bashing their own team. There's 102 more games to play. Sure, the Phillies are insane right now, but you can't control that. They'll come back down to earth. Be happy with each win.

Oh, and in case the people in the back didn't hear it… 102 more games! Relax.

  13. Braves making these young pitchers look like Cy Young!!!! EMBARRASSING!

  14. They definitely need a 5 starter plus a replacement for acuna AA needs to work his magic for hopefully a word series this year and everyone can stay healthy

  15. who does these highlights? We see every groundout and popup, but then magically someone is on 2nd base and we have no idea how?

  16. I have reached it I can’t watch any damn Atlanta sports for the last 5 damn years without being happy the hawks suck the falcons suck and so do the braves enjoy rebuilding for the next 15 years f uk you Matt Olson and Austin Riley and you too Morton

  17. I love my Braves, but man, they have been getting me worried lately. I am happy if we lose the division, make a wild card, and win the World Series. Lately, however, I have been worried about them even making a wild card. I hope they can get past this slump.
