Brady Singer picked up right where he left off after his first start, allowing just 1 run over 6.1 innings and striking out 4. Salvador Perez was in the middle of the Royals offense all night, going 3-3 with a booming RBI double in the 1st inning and sparking the rally in the 8th with a walk before being lifted for Dairon Blanco, who promptly stole a base to set the stage for MJ Melendez’s clutch RBI single. James McArthur notched his first save of the season to lock down the win for the Boys in Blue.

  1. all this detailed condensed play by play but we don't show how Blanco runs for Salvy, gets to 2nd in the 8th, which set up the go-ahead/winning run? cmon.

  2. Yeah, good to see Singer in the 9th. Pitchers should be able to go the whole game. Not a fan of starters pitching good games only to see them come out around the 7th and the relief pitcher blows the lead. Get those closers in check! Good Game!
