lets go giants
Cobb was excellent
While losing the no hitter sucks, this start was absolutely crucial for the team in my opinion.
#1, probably the most important reason is that Cobb looked like the All Star version of himself for the first time in a month.
#2, this ones hinestly debatable but in my opinion, Giants offense capitalized on mistakes that the pitchers made to guve a balanced offensive performance.
#3, in my opinion a better longterm reason, it gave the bullpen another day off. The pen has worked its tail off all season so being able to work with 2 dominant starts by Giants pitching probably just saved the Giants 2 games in the future if the bullpen needs to be used for whatever reason (i.e. an Alex Wood blowup)
Regardless though, Go Giants!
So close but at least the good vibes seem to be back
Let's go into Sept on a heater 🔥
An amazing performance all the same.
British fan here. How come sometimes the basemen tag the runner while standing on the base, but sometimes just catching the ball while standing on the base is enough. Like at first you can run someone out. But at second and third they tag the runner? Except on a double play?
Just as a lot of us were fearful of Cobb’s performance. So happy for this guy.
July 29, 1990 Scott Garrelts takes a no-hitter into the 9th against the Cincinnati Reds when with two outs Paul O'Neal gets a base hit.
This is Deja Vu all over again!
3 in a row?! I smell another 10 game win streak.🙏
The Slater catch was a thing of beauty😅
Great game and Let's Go Giants!
So close with that was great pitching by Alex Cobb.
Let's Go Giants Clap Clap Clap-Clap-Clap!
Hanny is back, now we need Conforto, Yastrzemski, Crawford and Brebbia
Very last batter….how disappointing. Still a spectacular performance.
glad to see that was ailing cobb was all mechanics
his splitter looked great last night
Cobb deserved the no hitter
If matos was a little taller Cobb would have had the no hitter. Damn I wanted him to get it
I think I saw Kap signal to the outfield to play back…,which would have enabled Matos to get a better line on that ninth inning spoiler….,
It happens, savor the flavor boys…keep it up let's ride it to the show
Great job Mr. Cobb!
Pitched a great game.
Great Win.
LE'TS GO GIANTS!!!
✌😎👍⚾
Maybe in Cobb's next start he will throw a no no against a better team.
Third time watching awesome game 🔥
