  1. No one sweeps Atlanta. Lol not gonna lie that felt good hearing how bad they wanted it.

  2. Ugh, this feels like deja vu. Didn't the Dbacks almost sweep the braves earlier for Castro to serve the hottest hitter the easiest pitch?

  3. Needed this one bad things were starting to get out of hand. Didn’t want to go on a five game losing streak.

  4. The Braves need another long winning streak to erase the last two series from their minds!

  5. My Apologies for this Notes From the Game Being SOOOOOO LATE, But it was because I ACTUALLY WAS AT TRUIST PARK TODAY!

Not Only was it a Fantastic Game, but the Concert that Followed with For King and Country was AMAZING!

A Memorable Time at the Ballpark NOT Just For a Braves' Win, But for a Spiritual Uplift for those that stayed!

    With that, Onto the Notes!

+ I'll give Strider a Pass for this Unfortunate Outing, as he did put up 6 Excellent Innings. It just fell apart in the 7th… His Final Line? 6 Innings of 4-Run, 4-Hit Ball, Walking 1 and Striking out 13 Diamondbacks in a No Decision. The Stached Striker Remains at 11-3 with an ERA of 3.78! Work to do, sure, but still Good to Come Out of it!

+ The Bullpen got its act together and Minimized any further damage! Heller, Yates, and Iglesias worked together to Limit the D-Backs to 1 Run on 2 Hits and 1 Walk, While Striking Out Two over the Final 3 Innings of Work. Kirby Yates gets the Win, despite allowing a 2 Out, Solo Homer to Corbin Carroll. Yates Improves tot 4-0 with an ERA of 3.47. Iglesias get his 17th Save of the Season, allowing a Walk and Hit, but finishing the inning with No Damage.

ROTATION TOTAL: 9 Innings, 5 Runs, 6 Hits, 2 Walks, 15 Strikeouts, 3 Home Runs Allowed.

It took until the 6th Inning, but the Braves' Offense ROSE From the Ashes and STUNNED Zac Gallen and the Diamondbacks!

+ Leave it to Orlando Arcia to JUMP-START The Braves' Offense in the 6th with his ONLY Hit: A SOLO SUPER MISSILE that landed in the HANK AARON TERRACE, ABOVE the Section I was sitting at! Arcia Stands firm with a .291/.343/.781 Line with 9 Home Runs and 32 RBIs through 74 Games!

+ HAVE A DAY, Matt Olson! 2-4 with TWO Super Missiles and 3 RBIs! Olson Steps Up to a .258/.363/.944 Line with 32 Homers and 80 RBIs in 95 Games!

+ AUSTIN 3:16 SAYS GET OUT OF MY BALLPARK! 2-4 with a Triple in the 6th, and the GAME-DECISIVE, GO-AHEAD THREE-RUN SUPER MISSILE INTO THE LEFT-CENTER FIELD SEATS! Riley Surges to a .268/.330/.807 Line with 20 Home Runs and 56 RBIs in 95 Games!

+ OTHER NOTABLES: Michael Harris II had a 2-3 Day, While Acuna went 1-4. The ONLY Brave to get on Base via Walk was Ozzie Albies, meaning d'Arnaud, Rosario, and Ozuna ALL had 0'fer days.

+ A MUCH-NEEDED, COMEBACK VICTORY FOR THE BRAVOS! Strider was Great until the 7th, The Bullpen kept things close, the Defense Didn't make any Mistakes, and the Offense Came Through when it mattered. WATCHING IT FROM THE STANDS MADE IT SO MUCH BETTER! You may have won the Series at Truist Park, Arizona… But we don't take kindly to those who REFUSE TO LAY DOWN like the Snakes they are. You have a Team that can get you to the Playoffs… Can it get you further than just the Front door of the Wildcard or Divisional Series?

+ Even Better? BOTH the Philies and Mets LOST, While the Marlins and Nationals were on Bye. This Vaults the Braves to 10 1/2 Games Ahead of Miami and Philly, 17 1/2 Ahead of York, and 24 1/2 Ahead of Washington.

    WHAT'S NEXT?

The Diamondbacks will continue their Roadtrip by Travelling North on I-75 to The Great American Ballpark, where the Cincinatti Reds Await. Tommy Henry will take the rubber for the D-Backs, who's coming off a Rough start against Toronto, where he took the Loss, allowing 3 Runs on 7 Hits over just 4 1/3 Innings. For the Reds, it will be Ben Lively taking the Helm, Who's had Two Good Outings against the Brewers that led to losses, allowing 2 Runs on 7 Hits in 9 2/3 Innings.

Can Henry and the D-Backs quickly correct course?

Or will Lively and the Reds Stomp the Snakes of Arizona for a Second Time?

We will find out at 7:10 P.M. EDT / 5:10 P.M. MDT on Bally Sports Ohio (Reds), MLB.TV (Diamondbacks) and MLB Network (Out-Of-Market ONLY)!

    Well… The Day has Come.

The Milwaukee Brewers… The Team we sent William Contreras to.

They weren't looking so hot to start the Year, and Management has been a Mess.

But here they are now… 1st in the NL Central, and looking to sneak into the Postseason again.

I suppose we'll be the Judge of that!

It's the Milwaukee Brewers…. AND YOUR MLB-LEADING ATLANTA BRAVES!

ROUND 1 of this 3-Game Showdown will be between Major Faces of the Starting Rotation.

For Milwaukee, Freddy Peralta will step to the plate, Who's coming off a Great Outing against Cincy, in which he 1-Hit them through 6 Innings!

Meanwhile, MICHAEL SOROKA will take up Battle Stations for the Braves, Who is actually coming off a Bullpen Appearance against the White Sox that did not go well, allowing 2 Runs on 3 Hits over just 3 Innings of Work.

Can Soroka and the Braves start a Win Streak to Counteract the Recent 4-Game Skid?

Or will Peralta and the Brew Crew find a way to put another L for the Tomahawk Chop?

We will find out at 8:10 P.M. EDT / 7:10 P.M. CDT on Bally Sports Wisconsin (Brewers) and Bally Sports Southeast (Braves)!

SoundFX09, Signing Out from Truist Park!

  6. The Diamondbacks came to play in this series. Hoping you guys can keep it going in the future. But, so glad that Braves could end the skid and comeback today. They needed to stop the bleeding here. I think offense will be there if they can iron out some of the pitching woes recently.

  7. The Braves show exactly why they are such a good **team**.

Riley's been meh pretty much all year while the rest of the offense was raking. Now they've gone colder and he's ripping the cover off the ball, determined to spark them back to life.

Also, i live how the offense struck back on behalf of Spencer, who pitched a helluva ballgame, his stateline killed by back to back ambushes late. They weren't going to let his 13k's and the record they set go to waste and be overshadowed by another stinging loss. They bashed for their mate. It's what they all do, and why they are where they are.

  8. This team was sleep walking for the longest, then all of a sudden Gallen got tired, and the bats started striking the ball better. Come eight inning, Castro was in, Braves hit him well before, and did it again today.

  9. Braves should've swept these boys. Game one was weird. Game two Morton made a few mistakes, this game Strider giving free passes to run around the bases. Braves pitching gotta tighten up

  10. Spencer is gonna have multiple 300 strikeout seasons, remember people he’s never pitched 200 innings he had 13k’s literally hit the combined parlay by himself

  11. The Braves bullpen may be one of the team's weaker areas, but it's worse for the Snakes. Riley definitely isn't a batter to whom one should hang a curve. Good game all around.

  12. I won’t ever get why the record lower then the starts, like how he 11-3 wit 19 starts

  13. This series highlighted all of our pitching injuries, just need to get healthy and we'll get right back on track! Hats off to Dbacks, can see why they're so good this year and they need to stop being underestimated!

  14. All of the homers keep getting hit off the fastballs. Goes to show that the heat isn't always good. When that happens and the other teams are hitting the fastballs well, you got to go back to throwing mostly junk. Sliders/Curveballs that do not hang and see if they will chase the junk. When they start taking alot of pitches again, that's when it's time for the heat. Carefully located. Rising Fastballs are good too sometimes. I don't even know what kind of pitches these Braves Pitchers know how to throw currently. Sinkers are good if they actually sink.

  15. I would like to voice my personal opinion that Kirby Yates is a weenie. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

  16. Great to see a game that changes hands like this. Also that the Braves batting is not just Acuna.
