I’m just not sure about Rosario being a long term answer at SS. He’s a good ball player for sure. I just don’t see him making plays that most MLB shortstops make consistently. The routine stuff I’ve seen him do well but moving to his left and right I’ve seen him struggle. He is still young so I think he has time to get better. He might have some competition soon with Gimenez making his way through the minors. Nice win for the Mets. They need to catch fire or else they are going to start living in the basement of the division like the past few years.
I always preach defense, solid win boys, but I need to see something from Rosario. His glove is making me nervous at times. SS is one of those main position u need a solid arm n glove. He got the arm but that glove needs to be better. Those good old days w Rey Ordonez seem to be way back in the rear view mirror 🙁

This was a game you know the mets were winning, so it's knit pick time….Rosario, another error on an easy play to his right, and couldn't knock down a ball hit to his left, his range to his left is questionable at best……and Cano,couldn't get to a medium grounder to his left,he definetly lost a step,and I see him hitting 20 homers tops,possibly 15,another nearly done second baseman signed by the Mets… The Mets,A team where old players come to get richer,and die!!!!

This was a team we had to sweep and we’re 2/3 of the way there. But still the next 13 games are against the marlins nats and tigers. The Mets have a great chance to get a winning streak going. LGM
