Simple solution. Get the kid a jersey with his favorite number without a last name. Aint no way me or my son is wearing another mans name on our back sports fans are dumb.

I think this is happening everywhere! I'm pretty sure it's a Fanatics thing. I was just at Camden Yards for the Red Sox Orioles series and they were selling Red Sox merchandise in the stadium. I'd never seen it before and seems exactly like something Fanatics would force teams to do.
