Bands was traded to MIN yesterday
Banda was traded yesterday thet signed Montero yesterday as a reliever
According to this site, the Yankees would need a roster of 50 players
The Yankees are positioned but will do little else. Genius Cashman is briniging back the same team. Why don't you write about that?
I think when the injured starters return Gil will be moved to the pen and will be really effective if, he can stay healthy.
Gonna miss Weaver
They typically make big acquisitions at the trade deadline these days and use the offseason to retain talent who are FA.
So this offseason blueprint has not been surprising.
Never gets tired of BS
Banda is gone to minn
Banda would be a really nice addition.. Danny Coulombe is also still a free agent. Either or both of these guys would make the Yankees a better team and neither will cost much either in salary or acquisition costs
When I look at what was on offer this offseason I'm really not that disappointed that we didn't do that much! I'm glad we didn't pay overs for guys like Tucker and Bichette. As long as we make moves at the deadline I'll be happy. Guys like Gil and Warren could be great trade pieces when our starters come back off the IL
Sucks that we're filling in bullpen holes by dumpster diving. That said, Banda is a solid lefty for the 'pen.
It wouldn’t surprise me if he does NOTHING. I have zero confidence when it comes to Cashman. Limping into every new year with one or two mediocre pitchers, fielders, contact hitters is a common theme. I’ll believe it when I see it. I DO NOT LIKE him. I disagree with you about his approach to pitching, he puts to much emphasis on ANALytics. Seeing is believing
Thanks!
