I think it's crazy to.think Bellinger can produce results like last year more than 2 years out of the next 5. His consistency has not been good, and as his age increases, the potential for injury and missed games increases each year. I would like to have him, but any larger contract than the 5 years and $160MM already offered is not prudent.
The @Yankees need to sign Bo Bichette. Last year they had one of the worst-hitting infields in MLB, batting around .230 as a group:McMahon 208, Volpe 212, Jazz 242 & Wells 219 . You can’t contend like that. Bo fixes the offense instantly. Give Dominguez/Jones a chance on LF.

Even though I’m against more than 5 years more so than the money, offer him a max of 6 years at $33M AAV, if he doesn’t go for a short term deal. For some reason, I think the Mets, I think they’re lying in wait to see the Yankees’ final offer, and then they will up the offer to see if he bites.
