Don't be nervous about them having to go to New York next Wednesday, A's fans. I will take that over a one-game trip to ANY of the other 3 AL playoff participants (yes, even Cleveland [Kluber]). If someone told you a year ago at this time A's will be in New York for the 2018 wild card game you would have had to think those chances are slim. Even I thought 2019 was the target year for A's playoff contention. Lastly, if A's make it to ALDS I do NOT want to see Cahill or Anderson taking up roster spots. Thank you for your contributions this year as emergency fill-ins, but you both are lousy right now and injury prone as always. Please do not waste roster spots on them, Melvin. My best guess….
