  1. He says he likes pitching more than hitting. He really probably could win the Cy Young. Crazy stuff. For whatever reason, he seems to be struggling at the plate when pitching. I think that’s still a work in progress. You use different parts of your body when hitting and pitching. And factor in the fact that he’s changed his pitching form. I think he’s still trying to adjust to hitting and pitching in the same game. The most talented baseball player is improving day by day. No wonder no one can catch up to him

  3. I just watch baseball here and there so im not particularly knowledgeable but I notice that the pitcher now has an ear piece, Is it only connected to the Catcher or the coach also has connection with it? because I notice Catchers dont use signals anymore and just ready to catch right away.

  4. This dominant starting pitcher is somehow by far the most criticized player because “this pitcher”didn’t get a single hit in the same game. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

  5. Maybe it was great baseball, probably was. But I couldn't stop watching that fan order all that pizza and bear, and then discuss with the waitress about this card getting cancelled. What drama, great. I couldn't look away.

  7. I thought Ohtani saved his splitter until this timing and I realized I was right. He is different from almost the others who can control the games and business.

  8. He is nasty man. Once he’s got the curve and splitter going after Realmuto hit that triple the Phillies couldn’t touch him. I’m a Phillies fan, if it goes 4 or 5 they have to see him again and I’m not confident they do well😂

  10. Shohei ws great as well as Team. Of course critics said he didnt hit. So what he is not only player on offense who can impact game. LETS GO DODGERS🎉

  11. “He allowed just one walk and struck out nine”. Guys he allowed 3 ER on as many hits. lol I mean why even say it like that ? Just be factual.

  12. This right here is the difference btw Judge (and all future and past MVPs) vs Ohtani. There's no one like him that can do this role. Even future 2-way players. You are all watching history at play.

  13. スリーラン打ったから許されるとかのレベルじゃないと思うのは俺だけか、テオの守備は
    普通に不快超えてプロとしてあるまじきプレイだと思うけどね

  14. Zeus, Hercules, Sampson, Mercury, all rolled into one…Thunderbolts and thunder…Incredible athlete. Just boggles the mind 😲

  15. JT you’re not fooling anyone throwing up the 666. Plenty of so called STAR athletes doing this and paying homage to their deity. The real shoutout is to all the athletes who were just as good but refused to sell their souls. Christ Is King

  16. i cant believe we are watching the greatest baseball player toi ever live right now… and hes on my team!! Cant take this for granted ppl! no matter what team you love

  17. I am blessed to see Superstar Ohtani play. Know that you are not just in the spheres of Babe Ruth, but also in the level of Michael Jordan.

Don't force yourself, enjoy and show the world your talent that was gifted from the Heaven!

Stay afar from drugs, gambling, and girls. And stay close, love and listen to your beautiful wife!!

  18. This is why it's hard for me to follow baseball. It is a very fickle sport. And every year particularly in Philadelphia, the fans get fooled. They go this is the year! And why? Because they do really well in the regular season. The regular season in baseball is super irrelevant. The Phillies have spent the last few years absolutely collapsing in the postseason. And they aren't the only team that have done that in baseball. In baseball you say things like, they got hot at the right time or, the bats came alive! In other sports, most often the better team in the regular season remains the better team in the postseason. Sure there are upsets, but very often it's no surprise when a particular team wins the super bowl or even the NBA championship. In baseball every playoff season is a new season.

  19. The Phillies’ hitters looked like they had practiced timing Shohei Ohtani’s fastball endlessly before the game. Through the second inning, Ohtani was struggling. The Phillies hitters were clearly waiting for nothing but his fastball. Then pitching coach Mark Prior walked out to the mound. I knew exactly what he was going to say to Ohtani: “It looks like the hitters are sitting on your fastball.”

Starting in the third inning, Ohtani began to mix in his curveball more aggressively. That probably wasn’t part of the original plan — it felt like an adjustment made on the spot. And it worked. From that point on, through the sixth inning, Ohtani gave up only one hit.

Anticipating what the hitters are expecting, and countering it with an unexpected pitch mix. that’s what the best pitchers do in the postseason.
