Despite allowing 12 runs and trailing by as many as six, the Marlins (53-55) rallied late and walked off the Yanks (60-50) on a ball that traveled one foot from home plate.
This is the 1st time the Yankees lost a 9-inning game with 15+ Hits AND 12+ Runs since July 24, 1940 at St. Louis Browns. Javier Sanoja, who stands at 5' 7" and 150 pounds, went 3-for-5 with two dingers and three RBIs. It was Sanoja’s first three-hit game of the season since April 20 against the Phillies and his first multi-homer game of his MLB career, and he entered the game with just one home run on the season. TIME of the game: 3 hours and 43 minutes. ATTENDANCE: 32,299

Im so glad i got home in time to see the final plays durring the bottom of the 9th. the score was still 12 -10 at the time. ABSOLUTELY INSANE HOW THEY GOT THE WIN!
