As a giants fan, I'm so glad for the win. But so sad this is last Battle of the Bay. Gonna really miss the boys across the bay. The A's are such a badass franchise and such a fun rivalry . Fisher is a real POS

Snell another masterpiece. He should be 6-0 in his last 6 starts, but he plays for a team that has a team batting average of 242. If Blake Snell plays for the Yankees, he's a 20-game winner easy. Do any of you Giant's fans think he will resign after the season? NO WAY!!! I played semi-pro and against former MLB players, and nothing pisses off a pitcher more when he pitches his ass off and the team can't score any runs, or even worst, the bullpen blows his game. Trust me, Blake knows this all too well. He's seen more than he needs to, and all the more reason he will not be coming back next season, imho.
New closer epic slider, will miss the Battle of the Bay after what Oakland did to the Giants in the 89 World Series. No chance to get revenge now.

I always felt we were spoiled because we had all these great teams in the Bay area now they're leaving so we just had a great deal for hell of years🎉🎉🎉 you know that's what it is

I know that this will not be the last time these teams meet, but it's sad they won't meet again as California teams. I'll think fondly of the games I went to and the memories that remain.
I was at this game with my son, pops, brother, niece, nephew and son’s friend. Bittersweet to get the win but it be the final Bay Bridge Series game. Lots of great memories at this stadium with my family and friends. My first A’s game was with my pops, and so was my last. Even took the kids onto the field to run the bases and did one last wave. Thanks for the memories!
Team is really frustrating. Just a little more situational hitting / offense and the team would be in a serious hunt for a wild card / do damage in the playoffs.
A few years back they were showing really awesome stadium 🏟️ concepts for the A's I thought it was going to go through but never did if it did might of kept the A's in Oakland sucks for Oakland now you had a football team leave and a baseball team

Went to Saturday and Sunday's game. I like both the A's and Giants. But since the Giants season could possibly still be intact, I obviously liked Sunday's game better. But it was definitely emotional being there, knowing that that was the last time they were going to play each other in the colosseum. The pregame ceremony on Saturday was awesome. Lots of memories there. I wish the A's owner wasn't such a piece of crap.
It's tough being a fan of anything in Oakland. Props to the faithful. I hate to think the city that was once home to the Raiders and Athletics, both championship teams, won't have a major league team in the city. I hope the city comes back.

Giants brass – after you fire Farhan… you’d better sign a 2nd baseman for this team!!! Both Wisely and Schmitt are complete liabilities!!! Those two blew two games apiece against the braves and Wisely yet again, almost screwed everything up again against the A’s on Sunday!
Get a real 2nd bareman, Giants!!!! And MANY consistent, competitive and good relievers!!!
I'm amazed at that throw from Yaz to Chapman in the bottom of the sixth. Perfect throw, perfect catch and tag, perfect positioning to not get the interference call, gets the runner out and ends the inning. Limits the damage to one run, and that allows them to fight in extra innings.

Giants v Dodgers is the real rivalry. As far as the A's are concerned, if Sacramento is good enough for the Kings, it should be for the A's. Expand that park and stay there! Sacramento Athletics has a ring to it.

When I was a crew member for Journey we played KMEL in a pre-game Softball exhibition before the A's and White Sox I believe. It was a beautiful day at the Coliseum and lots of fun. We used to play radio stations across the country while on tour. Johnathan Cain was a darn good Ball Player. Sad to see the A's leaving the Bay Area.
