Imagine if Felix Bautista was able to come back October 1st? With Coulombe and Westburg coming back in September with Mayo and Holliday getting ABs down the stretch into October.
Everyone keeps acting like the Os did nothing this trade deadline. Zach Efflin has a career 2.11ERA against the Yankees and postseason success out of the bullpen. Rogers has only given up more than 2 runs one time in his last 9 starts which were against Philly, Cleveland, Houston, Milwaukee, Mets and Boston who are all postseason teams. Dominguez has a near flawless postseason stat line and with Soto being joined by Coulombe as lefty options, how is this bullpen not significantly better. Not to mention Suarez joining the bullpen now as well who could easily wind up being the closer we have needed this year if his numbers as a starter translate to the bullpen.
Holliday had that 2nd HR. UNFAIR call.
Home plate ump could show a little more enthusiasm.🙄

Great win, but I'm glad this series is over. This was one of the worst umpiring crews I've seen in a long time.
If they didnt have money on these games, MLB was probably paying them to rule everything against Baltimore so NY could retake 1st place.

The second one hit the yellow. I stopped the video and zoomed in and it definitely caught the yellow. As I am not an umpire I am unsure what the ground rules and book rules are in this case. Either way, what a Holliday!

Awesome for Holliday! Man, I wish that 2nd one would've snuck in there. 7 rbi's would've been awesome. I think it's fair to be a little concerned about Gunnar's SS ability now. It damn near feels like he's responsible for at least 1 unearned run per game now all of a sudden. They will be devastating runs if this pops up come October when every out and every run is so important.
