The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Colorado Rockies 1-0 at PNC Park on May 4, 2024. Jared Jones threw seven scoreless innings only giving up one hit and recording 10 strikeouts. Jack Suwinski hit a pinch-hit, walk-off single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th to secure the victory.
