Coming off a four-game sweep over the White Sox, the Royals opened a home series vs. the Houston Astros. Cole Ragans battled through 5.0 innings allowing 3 runs and the offense tied things up with a 3-run 5th inning where the score stayed tied until the 10th, thanks to a tremendous effort from the bullpen keeping the Astros scoreless. Salvador Perez stepped to the plate and lined the second pitch he saw into the gap to score Garrett Hampson and give the Royals a 4-3 victory for their fifth straight win.

  1. If we stay steady in the bullpen the royals are a postseason team and im excited

  2. The Royals are a joke. They field a team of Minor Leagers, and the owner takes their share of the "Luxury Tax" (another joke) and puts it in his pocket instead of investing in the Team. They then have the audacity to want a new stadium. Baseball is a dead sport that fools continue to throw money at.

  3. It would be nice for my Royals to present us fans with at least 1080i resolution . . . or better, since we're no longer in the stone ages (I think)….good start for the boys in blue!
