The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 4-1 at American Family Field on Sunday afternoon. Endy Rodriguez opened the scoring in the third with a home run to right field. In the fourth, Connor Joe homered to bring the Pirates’ lead to 2-0. A 2-run homer from Bryan Reynolds in the eighth gave the Pirates a 4-0 lead. Johan Oviedo allowed just two hits and no runs, and tallied six strikeouts in seven innings pitched.
