What happen the other day when they had 25 hits in one game back and forth home runs… this man Spencer throws it right down the damn middle 😂😂😂
Striders fall off has been crazy. Got his contract and stopped throwing heat
Strider needs to follow the advice Crash gave Nuke in Bull Durham….quit trying to strike everybody out….he needs to work away some instead of trying to blow inside heat by everyone….besides, strikeouts are fascist…lol
Notes From the Game:
– Another Rough Outing from Spencer Strider. 5 Innings of 5-Run, 7-Hit Ball, Walking 2 and Striking Out Only 6. Somehow though, he earns the Win, Improving to 7-2, but his ERA climbs again to 4.12. I think the Mets and Tigers have Found a Weakness in Strider's Aggression, and exploited it. Hopefully this is something he can sort out.
– Jesse Chavez…. Man. 4th Pitch of his Relief Appearance Today, and he gets Drilled by a Comebacker from Miggy (I Know Miggy did NOT do it on purpose). Thankfully, X-Rays are *Negative*. Though that does not give us a clue as to how long he will be out. Prayers for Chavez's Recovery. BIG Piece of the Bullpen, and a Fan-Favorite, LOST for a while.
– The Bullpen didn't really ease the tension though. Nick Anderson and Rasiel Iglesias gave up 2 Runs on 6 Hits and 1 Walk while Striking out only Two in the Final Two Innings. Anderson's ERA is now at 3.62, While Iglesias is at 4.32.
+ Credit to Kirby Yates and A.J. Minter for EXCELLENT Relief Appearances in this One! They Limit the Tigers to just 1 Hit and No Walks, while Striking Out 2 in their Two Innings of Work. Yates stands in with a 3.38 ERA, while Minter remains at 5.74.
ROTATION TOTAL: 9 Innings, 7 Runs, 15 Hits, 3 Walks, 10 Strikeouts, and 3 Home Runs Allowed.
Even more Credit to the Braves' Offense for Keeping the Runs Coming!
+ Ronald Acuna Jr. Continues to show off that STARPOWER! 3-5 with Two Singles, a Two-Run Super Missile, and 3 Total RBIs! Acuna Steps up to a .333/.402/.973 Line with 14 Home Runs through 68 Games!
+ Orlando Arcia doing the Basics Today! 2-4 with Two RBI Singles! Arcia Stands in with a .327/.381/.850 Line in 47 Games!
+ Not the Best Day for Kevin Pillar, but he did even the score at a critical junction, reaching on a Fielding FAILURE by Nick Maton, which led to Ozzie Scoring and Tying the Game in the 4th! Pillar Holds onto a .261/.289/.800 Line through 35 Games!
+ MONEY MIKE WITH A GAME! 4-4 With 2 Singles, a Double, and a Solo Super Missile that JUSSTTT Evaded the Glove of Carpenter! Harris stands in with a .221/.288/.652 Line with 5 Home Runs in 46 Games!
+ OTHER NOTABLES: Ozzie Albies and Austin Riley were the Only Other Braves to Notch a Hit. Eddie Rosario and Ozzie Albies Both had Two Walks on the Day, Meaning Matt Olson and Travis d'Arnaud were the only ones to Not Reach Base.
+ Another Win that the Braves' had to grind on. The Pitching Faltered, But the Offense and Defense Picked up the Slack.
More 'Notes from the Game' to Come!
SoundFX09, Signing Out!
I kinda wanna hear that player commentary when the Braves scored.
Honestly concerned about Strider. His ERA has only climbed in his past few starts, he's walking too many batters and allowing too many homers. Something's gotta change.
Braves thankfully took both games, neither one was easy. The Tigers are young, but scrappy.
Strider's got to learn that he can't keep going with his fastball and slider most of the time anymore. He's got to use his changeup more and needs something like a 2-seamer to get groundballs
GO, Braves!!
Strider needs to throw the changeup mote
These Braves announcers are doing good work. They are really doing good work. It’s good work they are doing. Good work.
Vamos bravos!!
The Great Jim Powell On The Atlanta Braves Baseball Radio Network
Strider needs a 3rd pitch, and fast.
Great team! Go Braves!!!
Great comeback Braves. Little worried about Strider, hopefully he can get out of his own head and get back to his usual style of dominant pitching. Go Braves!
Two W's Is Better Than One ⚾❤️💙🤍 #BravesNation
Strider might have to work on that change up
These home runs every game are getting out of hand Spencer
These mfs really doing hockey moves rn… pick a sport already
This Carpenter guy is terrible at fielding.
I like the new bating gear Ronald!!

This broadcast booth sucked lol….
Damn, that blown game couldve been the sweep
they had us in the first half, not gonna lie
Strider been getting rocked the last 2 games. They not missing his cheese
Those ex player broadcasters in Detroit were comparing Acuña to Bonds during game 1.
Detroit broadcast sucks
great to see a game where the lead changes hands.
I hope Jesse Chavez is ok…good win by the Braves and they won the second game of the doubleheader too.

Micheal Harris is coming back and the Braves are looking good. Will be nice to see Freid and Wright back. Rough day for Spencer , he will adjust. Go Braves
